Our tour 'City, Jungle and Mountains' is an independent tour, which means it can start on any date that works best for your passenger. If she's an active traveler, we can absolutely adjust some of the activities to make the experience a bit more dynamic and tailored to her interests. She can feel free to choose the travel dates that suit her best, as the tour is guaranteed to operate on any date.

Can you please confirm the itinerary with our travel dates, and include the hotels that are included? We're fine with Standard accommodations.

The hotels that we usually work with in each destination are: Buenos Aires: Hotel Carles, Puerto Iguazú: Hotel Guamini Mision, Salta: Hotel Antiguo Convento, Purmamarca: Hosteria del Amauta. When there are no availability at any of these hotels we book similar hotels of the same category.

What/where is the jungle as mentioned in the tour title? Do I have to pay for domestic flights between the tour destinations?

The word jungle in the title refers to Iguazu falls, one of the most spectacular National Parks in south América. The itinerary also visits the city of Buenos Aires and the northwest región of Argentina where you can see mountains and salt deserts. Domestic flights are not included in the price. Would you like to receive a quote for domestic flights?

Is this a group or private tour? I am looking to travel any time June-September 2026 and this looks great. I would, however, like to arrive a day earlier so that I could see an estancia, and I would like to end the tour in Salta so that I can catch a bus to San Pedro de Atacama. Is it possible to make these changes?

This is an independent tour, which means you can choose any travel date that suits you best. On our independent tours, we combine private and shared services — for example, all airport transfers are private, just for you, while the tours are shared with other passengers. If you'd like to arrive in Buenos Aires a day earlier, we can arrange your airport pick-up the day before. We can arrange your drop-off at the Salta bus station instead of the airport, so you can catch the bus to San Pedro de Atacama.

What is your rate for kids? Is it kid-friendly?

Yes, this tour is kids-friendly and suitable for families. May I ask you how old the child is? There are special rates for children but they may vary depending on the child's age.

Is it possible to book an extra night in the same hotel? Will transfer be needed?

How do the internal flights work? Is there an option to book domestic flights to Salta as part of the trip, or do I need to book them separately?

What is the max number of participants?

Our tour "City, Jungle and Mountains" is not a group tour, it is an independent tour that can be book all year round. On this tour we combine private and shared services. For example all transfers from / to the airport are private just for you and then the tours are shared with other people but these tours are not massive but big busses, they are tour in vans with maximum of 16 / 18 passengers

Would it be possible to end the tour in Lima (fly there on the 20th)

On April 20 th we will pick you up at your accommodation in Salta city to take you to Salta Airport at the best time for you to take your flight to Peru. Latam Airlines has a direct flight from Salta to Lima that might work for you.

Do you arrange flights? If yes can I get package cost

We can arrange domestic flights needed for this itinerary. For the international flight it will be more convenient (price) if you buy it in the states. I suggest you arrive in Argentina on November 17th. Arriving in this date, domestic flights are more convenient. Flight package includes: Nov 19th - Buenos Aires - Iguazu, Nov 22nd - Iguazu - Salta (direct flight), Nov 27th - Salta - Buenos Aires. The price is 610 USD.

What flights are not included? Just the flights to and from Buenos Aires (from Amsterdam), or does this tour require flights that we need to buy ourselves? If so, when are these flights? Can you buy them for us?

Domestic flights are not included on the final price of the trip. For this tour you will need the following domestic flights: Day 3: Flight from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú, Day 6: Flight from Puerto Iguazú to Salta. You can book the flights for your parents on your own, or we can book them for you and add the cost of the flights in the final price of the trip.

The 'City, Jungle & Mountains: Buenos Aires, Iguazú & Salta' tour offered by the People Travel and Experience tour operator and that was coordinated though TourRadar was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! The hotels, tours, transportation and dinner outings were all first-class. Excellent experience and value for money. The only unexpected glitch was that we were unable to view Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian side. Apparently, due to a relatively new requirement, as of April 2025, Canadians and Americans now require a visa to enter Brazil. The advance materials provided by TourRadar stated that no visas were required for this tour, which I took as fact. However, I do accept some ownership for not reviewing visa requirements myself independently before travelling. We were promised a refund for the cost of the excursion to the Brazilian side of the falls, which is fair. All-in-all, this was a minor setback to an excellent tour, and it did not dampen our overall satisfaction. I would highly recommend both TourRadar as a tour aggregator, and People Travel and Experience as a tour operator.Show more

We absolutely loved this tour! Right from the beginning, Eve was fantastic to work with. She responded quickly to every question and was very thorough and patient with me. She quickly adjusted when our flight to Argentina was rescheduled. All the drivers picked us up right on time. The English speaking guides were good, especially Angela at Puerto Iguazú. She was exceptional! We liked the small hotels and their friendly, helpful staff. The itinerary is a nice mix as the title says. We especially liked how flexible it is as we made a couple of small changes before booking and as I said, had to accommodate our flight schedule. Eve also booked our domestic flights with Aerolineas Argentinas. That all worked out great as well. I would highly recommend this tour and People Travel and Experience!!Show more

  Total cost to be billed please except for international flight to BA and back to LAX. So far I see your cost at about $2600+/- with domestic flights. Includes pick up on all flights arrival, tours, Lodging, trans to and from lodging to airports. Minimal comp meals. What am I missing?

What flights are not included? Just the flights to and from Buenos Aires (from Amsterdam), or does this tour require flights that we need to buy ourselves? If so, when are these flights? Can you buy them for us?

  Domestic flights are not included on the final price of the trip. For this tour you will need the following domestic flights: Day 3: Flight from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú, Day 6: Flight from Puerto Iguazú to Salta. You can book the flights for your parents on your own, or we can book them for you and add the cost of the flights in the final price of the trip.

  When does the tour start? Is it whenever we want? Or are there fixed dates. I'm just trying to understand roughly the price of the whole thing including internal and external flights from and to Amsterdam.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 18th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with People Travel and Experience. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and People Travel and Experience will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "People Travel and Experience" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
