    3.5 - Good

My overall rating for this tour would be average. Our guide was excellent, very honest and reliable and didn't push us to buy anything or do any optional activities. The hotels were quite average or less than average. We had too many long rides (buses, trains etc.) between cities, from 6-12 hours! and sometimes on consecutive days! I don't think there was enough time for rest and it would have been much better if they added extra days specially after the days of long travel. Also, I believe the pre-departure document didn't contain much details about the tour so we didn't know what to expect, and as I have motion sickness the long hours on the very poor roads were really too much for me. I think the best thing about this tour was the group we had, they were all easygoing and we all got along very well.

I don't normally go back to the same country twice but if Kuldeep Pujari was my guide I would be there in a heartbeat. He really made our holiday. He was one of the happiest people I've ever met and gave his time freely (including his free time). He was knowledgeable, energetic and fun and it wouldn't have been the same experience had he not been there. I found the Nepal leg of the tour slightly disappointing. We found ourselves caught for time and a few of us split from the main group to spend a little more time in Pokhara. Maybe one night is enough in Kathmandu? Overall it was a great experience that I will never forget. Thank You

    1.0 - Bad

Worst tour ever!! Worst value for money, the guide was appalling and did absolutely nothing!! He did don't give us any advice so we did not know any good places to go. We had to tip for every little thing. And in the height of summer where it was 45+ degrees geckos couldn't even fork out for an air conditioned bus for us. Air conditioning was also not included at all the hotels so we sometimes didn't even sleep because it was too hot. There are hardly any included activities and anything that was included (except the Taj Mahal) was extremely basic and would have cost geckos nothing!! i.e a walk through a village which we could have done ourselves. You will end up spending much more money than you expect as you pretty much have to double up and pay for your tour guide at the sites even though its already included in the trip cost. Totally misleading!!! Would never go with geckos again
