He made our trip both enjoyable and memorable. He went out of his way to tell us about local cuisine and where to experience them. This tour was excellent! Our tour guide Florin was extremely knowledgable and clearly proud of his country's history. This was booked as a group tour, but ended up being a private tour and we definitely benefited from the added flexibility. In three days we visited clocktowers, monasteries and churches, got city walking tours and of course Peles and Brans Castles. Florin also introduced us to local food and provided some recommendations for specific delicacies. As we had time to spare before our flight, he also recommended spending time at the Spa Therme near the airport, which was a very good call. Accommodation in Brasov was very nice and well located to wander into town for the evening. Well recommended and would use again if visiting the region.Show more

Very nice trip, Florin, the guide was super flexible and very prompt, The accommodations in Braşov were excellent, clean and very unique near the market square. The people in Romania are so nice and hospitable. Because we booked a very short trip and knew very little about Romania to make choices of sites, there was a lot of time riding in a car. Saying that, Florin was such a hard worker and willing to show the magnificent country, we probably should have requested to pare down some of the locations to allow a bit more downtime. The guide (Florin) was excellent and I have no complaints there at all. I was very surprised to be the only one on the tour. I was shocked to find that we did not spend the night in Sighisoara as per the itinerary but drove back to Brasov. The hotel in Brasov was sub standard. Lights didn’t work properly - owner just laughed. Door handle was off bathroom door - I screwed it on myself. The biggest shock was the price. I paid over 220usd extra for a single supplement yet I could have booked a (better) room in this hotel for 40usd per night, online. Breakfast started at 10am but we left 8:15-8:30 each day so I had to find my own breakfast and get reimbursed. Starbucks was the only option open on the first morning. Meals that Florin recommended (not included) were excellent. No entrance fees are included for any of the visits so this is an exceptionally expensive tour and not one I could recommend with that cost. Further to being the only one on the tour... This needs to be notified. Like many solo female travellers, I will not venture out alone at night in unfamiliar countries/cities.Show more

Thank you for your review! Your opinion is very important to us,we apologize for the owner’s behavior and we will not collaborate with them anymore. We confirm with one operator from Tour Radar that you are the only one from this tour at the time you booked and we guarantee the departure. When is one person the price is slightly higher then when are two in the same room. We accommodate all our travelers in the city center, to be closer to the main attractions and so even if they are alone they can take a walk , but even so Romania is a safe country. The breakfast was at 10 AM at the hotel, but you agree with my colleague to change the itinerary, precisely because you are alone and he was at your disposal , you could change the itinerary. You had to leave early to be at Bear Sanctuary in time, this is why he recommended you another place for breakfast ,just crossing the street, by our expense. The attraction fees are not included ,as mentioned in the tour, and the prices are: Peles Castle -7 euros , Bran Castle – 9 euros, Salt Mine- 5 euros and Bear Sanctuary 13 euro. Best wishes!
