    Hi Pam, Thank you for your comment. I am sorry that it caused such inconvenience during your trip in Beijing due to the rehearsal of the military parade for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of PRC. This was an act of the government and force majeure, which was beyond our control. We have managed a way for you to visit the Forbidden City one day before it was closed. Luckily you did not miss the important part. The hotel you stayed is in the center part, near the Forbidden City, which was within the area of road closure. This information has been delivered to you two days before your arrival. We have suggested to change to another hotel which was not in blocking area but you haven’t accepted it. It’s good to know that you’ve managed to catch the flight home. We will remind our future clients if such unexpected situation happens again. Once again, thank you very much for your feedback and understanding.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before June 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with China Educational Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
