Is there a reason or restriction for the Age Range of 18 to 32?

We are a youth travel brand who's tours have specifically been designed for travellers aged between 18 and 32 years old, with the average age of our customers being around 26. If you are outside of our age range am deeply sorry to say that you will be unable to join us as we must adhere to our company policy.

My husband and I are hoping to take our daughter on this trip. Our ages at time of travel would be 18, 37, and 41. Are these ages able to travel in this group?

As your TourRadar agent mentioned, unfortunately, as we are a youth touring brand, all passengers need to be aged between 18 and 39 at the time of travel.

Just wondering why there are no hotels listed for the Deep Dive Italy Tour. I understand things may change by then but can you provide the hotels you typically use especially in Rome and Venice?

We do currently in the process of locking in the suppliers for our 2026 dates. For a general idea of the accommodations we use, I would suggest looking at the 'Trip Notes' or itinerary available on our website for the Delve Deep: Italy 2024 dates. We also do not release the confirmed hotels of specific departures until you are booked and confirmed on a trip for security reasons.

I have a question looking at similar trip on tour radar ...in order to see allot of italy there is a drive on average of 90-125 km per day ...how much time wiill we be spending on bus/train/boat rides per day to see our next stop

This does depend on the day of the tour, but generally there would not be a drive longer than 3-4 hours on a specific day before the next stop. There are of course plenty of breaks included as well.

Our 2025 dates should be released around June this year. I can add your to our expressions of interest list so we can contact you when they become available if you like?

I am 44 years old. Does the age range mean I can't book this tour?

All Topdeck trips are designed for and aimed at the 18-39-year-old market. The average age on most of our trips is around 23-25 years old. Most of our trips are based on share accommodation, and our passengers expect to be sharing with fellow travellers of the same age.

Does full vaccination status mean 2 covid vaccines?

Yes, fully vaccinated means two doses. This is Topdeck's policy only, so please check with the local policies of the countries you are visiting as well.

I see that there is no extra charge for twin accommodation in the Delve Deep: Italy Tour on July 31st, 2022 and it says that you would be alone in your own room - is this correct?

If you are booking into a Twin room, you will be sharing with another person on the trip of the same gender. If you are wanting a room on your own, you would need to book a Single room and this is charged as a single supplement rate.

Are there any gondola trips that can be booked? Also are the sightseeing spots skip-the-line? If so which spots?

what time do I check in for the Bravo Italia tour?

On day 1 of this tour you can actually check-in at any time. The only planned activity is the welcome meeting with your Tour Leader in the afternoon (around 5pm) and dinner after that. You can check in to the hotel after 2pm but if you arrive earlier you can drop your luggage at the hotel and go enjoy Rome!

Top Deck is an Australian owned company, so most of the participants are Australian. That's fine, just as an American a heads up would have been nice. Overall it is an interesting tour, they bait and switch the prices of the extra excursions though, on average they were about $30 more then what is listed and you have to pay the guide in cash. This does mean that you will have to hunt down an ATM if you didnt bring a lot of cash. Also everything goes off of Italian time, which can be any where from 15-30 minutes later then the scheduled time. So if you plan on doing anything independent of the group, try not to schedule it for right after the group activity is supposed to finish. Also the meals that are provided are very repetitive, it is all basic tomato red sauce with noodles, nothing all that different. There is also a big emphasis on partying and drinking, so if that is not your scene I would avoid this trip. All in all it was a good way to see a lot of Italy, but I will not be going on another TopDeck tour.Show more

We were lucky enough to get Daisy as our tour guide. She was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable, funny with her daily puns and fun facts and always ensuring we got perfect candid instagram shot.
