When I look at the calendar, it is providing me a price such as $946 for September but when I actually click on the month, it shows me a price that is twice as much + a local payment. I need to understand why that is the case.

The price USD 946 + USD 300 (local payment) is per person for 2 people (sharing a room). If you're a solo traveler, you have to pay more for single supplement, that's why the price increase.

When I look at the calendar, it is providing me a price such as $946 for September but when I actually click on the month, it shows me a price that is twice as much + a local payment. I need to understand why that is the case.

  The group size will be 12 -16 people, except for Halong Bay cruise trip, it will be more but will be private room for you. And we also don't have limitation about the ages of travelers, normally they will be 25 - 70 years old.

Most of our tour is a partial group tour in which you will have different groups for excursion at each place, but airport pick up/drop off and accommodation are private, just join a group on days you have a tour. The domestic flights during the trip are included in our package and paid as a part of the Local Payment of USD 300/person, which you can pay anytime till your arrival day. But the international flights for arrival and departure of this tour are NOT included. You will book it yourself as it'll be more flexible to your availability. And this tour will start in Hanoi, Vietnam and end in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Then you should book the international flights accordingly. Our package includes 2 parts: Upfront Payment + Local Payment.

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 26th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 26th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Realistic Asia. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Realistic Asia will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
