We are not able to share our accommodation providers details as we work with a selected list of local providers in each location. You can choose to stay in a hotel or a B&B during your tour. Hotels and hostels tend to be centrally located and B&Bs tend to be in residential areas on the outskirts of towns/villages. In all cases, passengers should be aware that accommodation may be up to a 30-minute walk (approximately 1.4 miles) away from local facilities. However, you may be able to book and pay for local taxis if required. Lifts and elevators are uncommon in a selection of our accommodation providers but may be available in some hotels. Ground floor rooms are available in many B&Bs and hotels. If either is essential, please let us know at the time of booking your tours. Please also note that passengers will be expected to carry their own luggage to and from their own rooms. Any additional mobility and special requirements (dietary, allergy etc.) should be made clear at the time of booking, so we can ensure the most appropriate accommodation is allocated to you. Please be aware that WIFI may not be reliable and cannot be guaranteed in your accommodation. If this is a requirement, please specify at the time of booking. If you'd rather book your own accommodation, please let us know at the time of booking and ensure reservations are made within 1.2 miles of the specified overnight town center.

We are from Australia and really like this tour however attempting to fit it in with our existing itenary and the preferred start dates of 29/6 , 30/6, 1/7 . Please let us know if you have any slots for those dates.

There are lockers in the Edinburgh Bus Station, though these can be a little pricey. There is a cheaper luggage storage facility in Edinburgh Waverley train station, roughly ten-minutes' walk from the bus station. This is run by the Excess Baggage Company, and is located between Platform 2 and 3, opening from 07:00 each day. I recommend having a wee look at their website for more information.

Can you advise if the B& B also have a private bath?

The B&B will have a private bathroom, yes.

Prices for 4-day Scottish Castle tour/person? How do I go about combining this tour with Brendan's 8-day Irish Castles and Manors tour (i.e. logistics of transferring from one tour to another)? Are any overnight stays in actual castles included?

This tour has been discontinued for 2023, so you are unable to book. In terms of combining different tours, we are unable to book any accommodation for you out with your tour. You are able to do tours back-to-back but you would have to sort any logistics yourself.

Our B&Bs along the way were top notch. Stewart and Brenda at Allen House were fun hosts and Ellen at Glen Lyon lodge was sweet and thought of everything down to the earplugs(just in case somebody snores).My one suggestion would be to offer booking through Tour Radar for before and after the tour. The driver and accomodation were not informed of prepayment and it lead to some on the spot, potentially embarrassing situations. The driver was not happy about the situation also and made that clear. If it would be of interest to you, our 4-day Outlander Trail tour currently has good availability for the departure on 30th June. This tour visits Doune Castle, Urquhart Castle, Blackness Castle, and Culloden Battlefield included.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
