On your 3-Day Isle of Mull and Iona Small-Group Tour from Glasgow, do you actually get to go into Fingals cave or only see it from the ferry?

There is an optional boat trip on Day 2 of this tour that will take you to Staffa. The boat will stop at the island and you will be able to disembark, giving you around an hour to explore the island (and yes, you can go into the cave!). Please note this boat trip is weather dependent; stormy weather is unlikely between May-June, but not impossible, and your driver-guide will let you know if the boat trip won't be an option on the day.

We had a great time on the 3 day trip to Iona and Mull. Our driver/guide was "old" Cameron. Cameron was very knowledgeable about the natural and cultural history of the area. Fortunately the weather was much better than was forecasted. The mini coach was clean and comfortable. Would have enjoyed an extra day in Tobermory to check out some of the local attractions such as the distillery and the Hebredian Whale Centre. That said, the tour is well thought out and packs a lot in to 3 days.Show more
