How much does the optional Fado event in Portugal cost and what does it include?

The Fado event costs 70 Euros. It includes a round-trip bus service from and to the hotel as well as a Fado show with dinner and drinks included.

What is the procedure for airport pick-up?

Please send us your flight schedule at least 5 days before your departure to arrange the pick-up.

What are the hotel standards that will be used on this adventure? (3 or 4 star hotel?)

How will the tour guide assist the travellers with the meals that are not included in this adventure? Will they suggest a restaurant the travellers can choose from or will there be a restaurant of the tour guide's choice, especially for lunchtime?

When the tour ends do your bring us to the airport to depart to go home? Also I saw on day 3 in Granada they mention a trip to the Alhambra that can be purchased but I didn't see that in the itinerary as an option

You will need to be reasonably fit and have a moderate degree of stamina to be able to participate in our adventures: spending hours in coaches, visits on foot keeping pace with the group, long hours and architectural barriers in cities that are not always prepared. We will apply 5% discount for Over 65 years. The discount will only be cumulative with the triple room discount.

What are the requirements for luggage on the tour?

The tour normally allows only one suitcase per person, and it should weigh no more than 30 Kg.

Can I pay for optional excursions before the trip begins?

Yes, optional excursions must be booked and paid for by credit card via our designated booking page. Some may also require cash payment at the destination if they cannot be prepaid.

Are meals provided during excursions?

Yes, for the Fado show in Portugal, dinner and drinks are included.

from the very beginning, we were not welcomed as a group. for the first 4 days we had a different bus and different guides and groups of people came and went, we had no idea who our fellow passengers were or if they were on the same trip as us until well into the trip. It did not feel like a tour where you can get to know fellow passengers, but more like a hop on hop off bus. we did not like the multi lingual guides as they had to explain everything twice, which took ages in some cases. We also felt the spanish were getting priority with bus boarding and seating. With the number of tours you run surely you could organise an english only speaking tour and then spanish only. We found the spanish groups rarely tried to communicate with the english speakers, and they stuck together which made us feel more isolated and not part of a bigger tour.Show more

  With regards to the meals, you are provided with Daily buffet breakfast : Breakfasts are always included during the circuits and additional night, commonly it will be a cold buffet. The day of incorporation to the tour, the breakfast is not included. 1 Lunch or dinner included in: Granada. All other meals will be on your own. You will be given time to explore the local restaurants and enjoy your meals during the tour. Your knowledgeable local tour guide can definitely offer you some great dining spots. We suggest budgeting EUR 25.00 for each meals not included on this trip. Our suggestion is based on past traveler feedback but you may choose to spend more or less.

  The coach luggage hold has limited space and this affects the maximum amount of luggage authorised per passenger on our circuits: one suitcase per person, weighing no more than 30 Kg. We recommend you take ONLY what you need. Your trip will be much more enjoyable if you do not have to worry constantly about struggling with heavy, bulky suitcases.

When the tour ends do your bring us to the airport to depart to go home? Also I saw on day 3 in Granada they mention a trip to the Alhambra that can be purchased but I didn't see that in the itinerary as an option

  You will need to be reasonably fit and have a moderate degree of stamina to be able to participate in our adventures: spending hours in coaches, visits on foot keeping pace with the group, long hours and architectural barriers in cities that are not always prepared. We will apply 5% discount for Over 65 years. The discount will only be cumulative with the triple room discount.

Europamundo accepts passengers of all ages, that is why in our description of each tour the age allowed is 1-99 years, we cannot deny a reservation by age of a passenger. Each passenger must know if it is suitable or if it will be able to make the tour.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
