  The itinerary was good but the hotels were not 3 star at all. The rooms were small and not even very clean. And the itinerary says breakfast every day but in reality you get breakfast only half the time. If you are staying 2 days at a hotel you can enjoy breakfast one day and next day you are picked up before the breakfast is served. Our ferry to Mykonos had to leave at 7 am but the driver picked us up at 4.45 am and dropped us at the quiet deserted ferry dock. The hotel selection should have been better. We had very good experience with TourRadar in Egypt but not in Greece. There was not one group going everywhere together. Every day there were new people with new drivers. We were wasting more time picking and dropping people at different hotels. We should have done outdoor activities when it was cooler but the guide took us to air conditioned museum in the morning and then at noon to see PantheonShow more

  The “3 star” hotels were more like 1 or 2. They were far from action, cramped, terrible food, like inedible, especially the 1 dinner. Your also forced to eat at other restaurants along your journey and they are not included in the price and also terrible. I’m sure it could be worse which is why it’s a 2 but I would never recommend tour radar again.Show more

Just to clarify some things, please note that the hotels you were allocated in were certified 3-star properties with really good rating and positive comments from the vast majority of guests. Furthermore, it's against our policy and beliefs to force our guests into choosing something they are not comfortable with. Once again we apologize we did not manage to meet your expectations.   While the hotel in Mykonos was fabulous, Athens good, Kalabaka ok -except for included dinner, which was NOT edible. Staff in santorini nice however location was very bad for first time visitor. Should be in Thira or even oia - perhaps for upgrade. My room was on street side, where kids drag-racing all night, very noisy. Uncomfortable beds.Show more

I understand that the location of the hotel is Santorini was not as centrally as you had expected, however, the hotel you were allocated in is the one advertised on the main page of Exploring Greece tour which is a highly rated hotel. It would have been really nice if you had mentioned to us the issue regarding the noise while in-destination as we would have liked the opportunity to address it in a timely manner. On the other hand, we see that you really liked the hotel in Mykonos and we are really happy about that! Thank you for your feedback and we hope to be of service to you again in the future.

  This was meant to be a “group tour”. I booked this tour as I was travelling alone and wanted to meet people. On the first day I just checked into my hotel, the hotel wasn’t aware of a tour and I didn’t see anyone else. On the second day a bus picked just me up from the hotel then picked up others from other hotels. I had been booked into a one day tour, nobody else there had a longer tour. At the end of the day I was dropped off alone. There was nobody from the “tour” staying with me. The next two days I had been booked onto a 2 day tour. After this transfers had been organised just for me between hotels and the ferry. I never met a tour guide or anyone else on the tour. None of the hotels I stayed at or drivers were aware of the tour. I travelled alone for 16 days in total in Greece before meeting up with others. There was absolutely no benefit in booking this “tour”. It was no different from travelling alone other than it was more expensive and most of my transfers were late. The hotels were fine, the 2 day tour was good but I would never recommend this to anyone. This is completely falsely advertised.Show more

We believe that we have designed our tours in a way that has allowed us to provide a personalized service and also give the option to each traveller to both explore each destination privately as well as be a part of a group. We deeply apologize that this kind of tour was not what you were looking for.   The Exploring Greece tour was average. The itinerary is not very detailed, so we did not know what the exact day-to-day plans were. The buses were never on time. They either showed up very early or about 30 minutes late. The hotels were quite nice in each of the places we visited. The meals that were provided were decent enough. I would not recommend this tour to a friend because it is not well-organized. In fact, our voucher included an emergency contact number in case of anything, and when we called it because our transportation didn't show up, it was an invalid number. I tried messaging Destination Services Greece through Tour Radar, and they never responded. The nice hotel staff was able to call a taxi for us to get to the right spot when our included transportation never showed. I recommend looking into other tour providers.Show more
