Would you recommend this tour for an eleven year old? We will be traveling with our grandson. If you would not recommend for a child is there a tour you would recommend?

Are there any options in the hotels to have three in a room for older parents and adult son?

Triple rooms can be booked; however, they are suitable to accommodate two adults and one child. For three adults, these rooms may feel a bit tight, as they typically feature one double bed and one foldaway bed, with limited space for luggage. As an alternative, you may consider booking one twin room and one single room, which would offer more comfort.

Does this price include airfare

The adventures we offer will not include international airfare, as travellers can join the trip from many different countries. You will be responsible for booking your own flights to meet at the starting city of your adventure.

Is this a guaranteed departure? Also, their daughter might join a bit later or leave earlier; would that be possible? And would there be any changes to the cost in that case?

We are pleased to confirm that the departure on May 2, 2025, is guaranteed and will proceed as scheduled, barring any extraordinary circumstances. If your daughter joins the trip late or leaves early, the price of the trip will not change. Please note that any missed activities or sightseeing during her absence will not be refunded or deducted from the overall trip price.

Do you have wheelchair option unable to transfer?

If you will be bringing a wheelchair on tour, you will be filling out a Specific Requirement Form. Once our Operations Team receives the form, they will then advise if they are able to accommodate your request.

What is the standard luggage allowance for the tour?

A single bag is allowed with dimensions not exceeding 30"x18"x10" (76x46x25cm) and weight not exceeding 50lbs. (23kg). Carry-on/hand luggage is restricted to one piece per person, not exceeding 12"x11"x6" (30x28x14cm) to fit under the coach seat or in the small overhead compartment.

During our stay in Killarney, is there enough free time to visit Killarney National Park?

Yes, during your stay in Killarney, you will have some free time to explore the area. On the days when we offer optional experiences, if you choose not to participate, that time will be yours to enjoy as you wish. We recommend coordinating with your Travel Director regarding your plans to visit Killarney National Park, as they can assist you and provide valuable information on the best times to explore during your free time.

If my husband and i did this tour with my mother-in-law, would we have two hotel rooms? One for the two of us and one for her?

For three guests, we do offer the option of a triple room or 1 single room and 1 twin room. Please be advised that triple rooms are generally suitable for two adults and one child. Three adults may find these rooms too small, as they often have one double bed and one foldaway bed, with limited suitcase space. If you prefer more space and comfort, we recommend booking one single room and one twin room.

Once I get to Dublin, should I just go to the first hotel on the list? Or will I be told where to go once I book?

Upon your arrival in Dublin, you may proceed directly to the first hotel if you wish, as all guests will meet at the hotel reception. Please note that hotel check-in is typically at 3:00 in the afternoon. We offer complimentary transfers on the first day of your trip, departing from Dublin Airport (DUB) at 08:30, 11:00, and 13:00. Your flight should arrive at least an hour before the scheduled transfer time.

One of the things I liked the most about the trip was the variety of experiences. Not only did we tour the typical sites, like Blarney Castle and Waterford, but experienced the majesty of the Cliffs of Mohr and Giant’s Causeway. One of the most fun places was Ireland’s best pub where we learned about hurling and had a rousing singalong. If I had a complaint it was the pace of travel, although I did know that the itinerary was planned as a busy trip.Show more

Is this a guaranteed departure? Also, their daughter might join a bit later or leave earlier; would that be possible? And would there be any changes to the cost in that case?

  We are pleased to confirm that the departure on May 2, 2025, is guaranteed and will proceed as scheduled, barring any extraordinary circumstances. If your daughter joins the trip late or leaves early, the price of the trip will not change. Please note that any missed activities or sightseeing during her absence will not be refunded or deducted from the overall trip price.

What is the standard luggage allowance for the tour?

  A single bag is allowed with dimensions not exceeding 30"x18"x10" (76x46x25cm) and weight not exceeding 50lbs. (23kg). Carry-on/hand luggage is restricted to one piece per person, not exceeding 12"x11"x6" (30x28x14cm) to fit under the coach seat or in the small overhead compartment.

During our stay in Killarney, is there enough free time to visit Killarney National Park?

  Yes, during your stay in Killarney, you will have some free time to explore the area. On the days when we offer optional experiences, if you choose not to participate, that time will be yours to enjoy as you wish. We recommend coordinating with your Travel Director regarding your plans to visit Killarney National Park, as they can assist you and provide valuable information on the best times to explore during your free time.

If my husband and i did this tour with my mother-in-law, would we have two hotel rooms? One for the two of us and one for her?

  For three guests, we do offer the option of a triple room or 1 single room and 1 twin room. Please be advised that triple rooms are generally suitable for two adults and one child. Three adults may find these rooms too small, as they often have one double bed and one foldaway bed, with limited suitcase space. If you prefer more space and comfort, we recommend booking one single room and one twin room.

Once I get to Dublin, should I just go to the first hotel on the list? Or will I be told where to go once I book?

  Upon your arrival in Dublin, you may proceed directly to the first hotel if you wish, as all guests will meet at the hotel reception. Please note that hotel check-in is typically at 3:00 in the afternoon. We offer complimentary transfers on the first day of your trip, departing from Dublin Airport (DUB) at 08:30, 11:00, and 13:00. Your flight should arrive at least an hour before the scheduled transfer time.

- For any tour departing before December 23rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 23rd, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Trafalgar. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Trafalgar will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
