Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich this evening and meet your tour director and fellow travelers at the hotel. A welcome dinner gets the trip started, giving you a chance to settle in and get to know the group before exploring Switzerland.

Zurich to Geneva
This morning starts with a walk through Zurich's Old Town where you'll see Fraumulsterkirche and its green steeple, plus stained-glass windows designed by Chagall and Giacometti. From there you'll head to Biel/Bienne for some free time wandering the historical district, then stop in Neuchâtel for lunch. After that, you'll continue on to Geneva (about 174 miles total). By evening you'll be settling into your Geneva hotel.

Geneva
A guided walk takes you through Geneva's Old Town where you'll visit St. Peter's Cathedral and the Reformation Park with its giant statues carved into a wall inscribed with 'Post Tenebras Lux.' You'll walk along the old cobblestone streets, through small squares, and down some hidden passages. The afternoon and evening are free for you to explore on your own or grab a meal.

Evian-les-Bains to Broc
You'll start with free time in Evian-les-Bains to look around, then head to the medieval Castle of Gruyères perched on a hilltop. Lunch there features local specialties and the region's famous meringue with double crème. After that, you'll visit the Maison Cailler chocolate factory in Broc for a tasting. The drive is roughly 87 miles and you'll end the day in your new location.

Gstaad to Grindelwald
An orientation walk in Gstaad gets the morning going, followed by free time to browse around. Then you'll head to Interlaken for more free time, and after that continue to Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland. Grindelwald sits at the base of some serious mountain terrain and works as a good spot for mountain activities. You'll have free time this afternoon and evening (about 87 miles of driving today).

Grindelwald
Today you're heading up the Jungfrau Massif on a mountain train to Jungfraujoch at 11,333 feet, known as the 'Top of Europe.' You'll check out Europe's highest railway station and visit the Ice Palace where artists have carved sculptures into the ice. There's a 360-degree cinema showing Jungfrau Panorama views, and you can take a super-fast lift up to the Sphinx Observatory for views across the Alps' longest glacier. You'll get a Jungfrau Passport as a souvenir and have free time to wander around.

Grindelwald to Lucerne
You'll travel to Bern for a guided walk that includes BärenPark where Pyrenean brown bears live (the town's name comes from bears). You'll catch panoramic city views from the Rose Garden and walk through the historic Old Town. Lunch break gives you free time to eat wherever you like, then you'll head to Lucerne with the afternoon and evening free (about 112 miles of travel).

Lucerne

You'll also see the Wasserturm, an old water tower that used to be a prison. This evening wraps up with a farewell dinner at a local restaurant where you can toast to the trip.
