Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich and check into your hotel. This evening at 6 pm, there's a welcome dinner where you can meet your tour director and fellow travelers. It's a good chance to settle in and get oriented before your week begins.

- Day 2
Zurich - Biel/Bienne - Neuchâtel - Geneva
Start the morning with an orientation walk through Zurich's Old Town, passing the Fraumünsterkirche. Then you'll head to Biel/Bienne, a town known for watchmaking, where you have free time to wander around. After that, continue on to the lakeside town of Neuchâtel for lunch and a stroll along the waterfront promenade. You can see the medieval castle and cathedral from there. By evening, you'll arrive in Geneva.

Geneva
Your local guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of Geneva, starting with Reformation Park and a walk through the Old Town. You'll have a choice between two included activities: either a themed tour focusing on the Red Cross heritage and international institutions, or a mini-train ride through the Old Town that points out landmarks like Place Bel-Air, the Reformation Wall, Town Hall, and St-Pierre Cathedral. The rest of the evening is yours to spend however you'd like.

You'll travel to Évian-les-Bains, a spa town in France where you can explore its mineral water heritage. Then head to the hilltop village of Gruyères for lunch featuring local specialties, including traditional meringue with double crème. After eating, visit Gruyères Castle and have time to walk around the village. To wrap up the day, stop at the Maison Cailler Swiss chocolate factory in Broc for a chocolate tasting.

Gruyère Area - Gstaad - Interlaken - Grindelwald
You'll travel through alpine scenery, starting with a stroll around Gstaad, a winter resort town. Continue to Interlaken, one of Switzerland's oldest resorts, where you'll have free time to explore on your own. After that, head to Grindelwald for the afternoon, a popular base for getting out into the Bernese Oberland region.

Grindelwald - Jungfrau
A mountain train takes you up to Jungfraujoch, the summit of the Jungfrau Massif known as the 'Top of Europe'. You'll get a Jungfrau Passport and explore the Alpine Sensation, visit the Ice Palace with its ice sculptures, and catch the 360 degree Panorama cinematic experience. There's an ultrafast lift to the Sphinx Observatory, followed by lunch. Before heading back, stop at the world's highest chocolate shop.

Grindelwald - Bern - Lucerne
You arrive in Bern, Switzerland's capital, for a guided sightseeing tour with your local guide. Visit the Bear Park to see Pyrenean brown bears, then go to the Rose Garden for city views. Walk through the UNESCO-listed Old Town with its decorative fountains and the Zytglogge clock tower. Later, continue on to Lucerne, arriving in the late afternoon with time to yourself.

Lucerne
A walking tour shows you Lucerne's key sights, including the Lion Monument, a rock relief that Mark Twain described as the 'saddest sculpture in the world'. You'll also see the Chapel Bridge, a 14th century covered wooden bridge crossing the River Reuss from the Old Town and Europe's oldest of its kind. It's also Lucerne's most photographed landmark. The afternoon is free to explore on your own. Tonight, you'll have a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
