Yes it will be nice for a young person. I suggest to change the visit cerro verde to climb santa ana volcano, which is one of the most popular adventures in the country. You can stay 2 nights at el tunco or zonte village, where some of the most important surf tournaments take place and you can enjoy the beach and perhaps surf lesson, visit the fisherman warf, visit tamanique cascades.

How physically demanding is the tour? Specifically for day 4, on the 100 stairs to the clouds walk, how difficult is that activity?

The 100 stairs is optional activity in ataco, the visit to cerro verde hill is a easy walk in the forest at your own speed. The rest is regular walking.

Most of the trip was good Francisco and his wife could have not been any better, then with my trip climbing the volcano Francisco was the BEST. Alex his associate seemed most of the time disinterested. One day while with him he wanted to stop to eat at a Mc Donalds, I preferred not eat there versus something more from El Salvador or a street vendor. while driving he ate two bags of french fries and then pulled over to go out of the car and eat his sandwich while I sat in the car and waited. While climbing the volcano I was not sure he knew where he was going, and I did ask him which way to go while he was on his phone and walking with hesitation. Then I was watching where I was stepping and hit the ground, as he stopped again. He had no idea on what to do, another tourist offered to help Alex brushed him off stating he was "my driver". He drove me to the hospital no water or towels to stop or clean up the blood or dirt.Show more

Our driver gave us really good advice for the first evening and told us a lot about the country. Our guide knew a lot about the sites, but sometimes we missed the explanation of the program like where are we going to, what should we bring or what should we wear. The guide was asking lunch in our hotel but forget to ask us what we like/ our allergies. I think it's best to let the travels order their own foodShow more

  Could you clarify changing the visit from cerro verde to climb the santa ana volcano? I saw on day five, both cerro verde and santa ana volcano are listed. Could you share the proposal and cost for your suggestions at el tunco or zonte village? Currently I am thinking of starting the tour maybe on 12/24 but am not sure yet.
