Dear Brooke, Thank you very much for your opinion. We are glad that during your stay in Poland within THE POLISH DREAM TOUR you had the opportunity to meet many interesting people. As far as the program of our guaranteed tours is concerned, we are very sorry that you are disappointed with it. The programs of these tours are posted on our website www.staypoland.com and our clients have access to them. These are not purely historical tours. We do our best to present our country in the best and most comprehensive way, so that our clients take with them as much knowledge and wonderful experiences about Poland as possible. Dear Booke, You cannot accuse us that THE POLISH DREAM TOUR is a purely historical tour. Its program includes a little bit of everything: History, geography, folklore, gastronomy. In each of the visited cities we plan 1 - 2 or sometimes even 3 days stay. For reasons of time, we can't make it longer, because, such a detailed tour would have to last much longer than 16 days. For connoisseurs we offer individual tours, called "tailor made tours", the program of which is arranged according to the interests and expectations of each client. We cordially invite you to take advantage of such a tour. As far as gastronomy is concerned, it is true that pork is the most popular type of meat in our country, but I do not agree that lunches/dinners for your group were "pork". Yes, they were "pork", but there was also beef, there was chicken and duck. Dear Brooke, I cordially invite you to Poland and to enjoy one of our Poland-tours" For Connoisseurs - "Tailor-made - tours".

    Reply from: Stay Poland
Dear Walter, Hello Walter, according to our correspondence and after checking with our service providers, we would like to respond to your complaint regarding your participation in THE POLISH DREAM TOUR from 09.-24.06.2023: 1.The first dinner for the group was ordered at the Kamienne Schodki restaurant, located in a nice place, right by the Old Town Square in Warsaw. The menu included: old Polish zurek served in bread quarter of duck with apples and cranberries These are our national dishes and a specialty of the Kameinne Schodki restaurant. However, it may have happened that you did not like this set, that in your opinion the meat was dry and inedible. In such a case, it was only necessary to report this remark to your Guide who in consultation with the Head of the restaurant would have caused an exchange of this meal for another. The group's guide is always ready to intervene in case of any comments from guests. 2 The excursion to the lavender fields was, in your opinion, a waste of time. Well, yes, you are right, this is not Provence and the lavender that grows here is not so grand, but for many years this place was for us and for our Polish and foreign tourists a substitute for what can be seen in France and Italy. Times have changed, we travel more and such curiosities in a much better way we can see in other countries. Thank you for your suggestions. We will change this point of the program next year to another, better tourist attraction. 3.We chose the Hotel CZARNY POTOK in Zakopane as a place of accommodation for the group because of its very good location in the very center of Zakopane, near Krupowki and thus many stores and restaurants as well as tourist attractions - walking distance. Tourists willingly visit such places. The hotel itself has a category of good 3 stars. 4.In the hotel GOLDEN TULIP KRAKOW CITY CENTER in Krakow occurred on 23.06.2023, in the afternoon, the elevator failure. Breakdowns of this type can always happen, in any place. The hotel, unfortunately, was not able to remove these failures quickly. As we checked, the doormen helped guests to get to their rooms and to carry luggage. During check-out from the hotel on 24/06/2023 in the morning, the porters were also at the disposal of the group. The hotel assures us that it made every effort to ensure that the elevator malfunction caused guests as little trouble as possible. 5.Tours of Jasna Gora in Czestochowa - until recently, visitors, pilgrims and tourists visiting Jasna Gora were accompanied by Pauline Fathers as guides. Unfortunately, some of them are now elderly and unable to guide tourists. Therefore, for some time the Pauline Fathers have been employing nuns or lay people as guides. These persons receive training under the guidance of experienced employees of the Jasna Gora Information Center. The guide who accompanied your group, Mr. Hubert Koj, Mr. Hubert Koj, lived, studied and worked in various states of the USA for 30 years and knows the mentality of visitors from this country. After presenting him with these accusations, he was unpleasantly surprised, because at the end of the tour no one personally reported any problem to him, and this is a sign that customers are satisfied with the service presented to them. No one accused him of lack of competence or "disrespectful attitude to this Holy Place. The employees of the Center do not understand with what their Guide could deserve such a harsh assessment, and why did this complaint come in? Nevertheless, they apologize for the situation, thank you for the critical remark, which they trust will help them to raise the level of guide services. 6.We are glad that you enjoyed your tour of Malbork Castle very much. 7.We are very sorry, but we do not understand your remark "do not cut things that were promised" In our opinion, THE POLISH DREAM TOUR program was implemented in full, none of the services included in it was omitted. Dear Walter, We thank you very much for all the above comments on the program of our tour. They are of great value to us. We will try to take them into account when preparing new offers. We invite you to use them the next time you come to Poland. Best regards. Anna Swiercz eTravel S.A.
