  Fabulous fascinating experience well managed with excellent extra activities. In addition to the main attractions we were treated to some extras that really delighted us and that we wouldn’t be able to do ourselves without being on this tour eg meal and origami in a couple of homes and tai chi dancing. A couple of improvements to achieve 5 stars in our view would firstly be to make the itinerary a little less exhausting by not starting so early every morning and maybe taking out some of the repeat museum stops to help facilitate perhaps.... Secondly, there was too much pressure on us as customers to have small amounts of local cash readily segregated for multiple reasons making us all feel uncomfortable which could have been avoided by the tour company increasing the price and managing this for us ie Lunch and tea should have been included in Chengdu to be consistent with other cities and tips for your guides and drivers should have been included, just as they were for when we were handed over to other guides as part of the itinerary.... In summary , amazing as the whole experience was, we now feel in need of a holiday to get over feeling exhausted!Show more

As a result, we decide to start the tour in the early morning. We feel sorry that it made you feel tiring and exhausting. Besides, as we consider that the restaurants nearby some of the scenic spots are of low quality so we do not arrange the meal there and remain the free time for our clients to have lunch on their own. As for tips, tipping is not mandatory in our tours so that it is not included in our tour price. You can choose to tip your guides and drivers if you are satisfied with their services. We will take your suggestions into consideration and try our best to make any possible improvement. We sincerely wish we will be able to work with you again in the future. Have a nice day!

  We had such a wonderful time on our 11-Day Tour in China. We went to Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, and Shanghai. Now I felt like Shanghai was a city that we would have been just fine exploring on our own but the first three we were so thankful to have a reliable tour group to get us from one location to the next and we were also able to avoid long ticket lines. This allowed us to see much more than we would have been able to without a tour. Our guides in Beijing and Xi’an were excellent. They were informative about the sights, and the culture and history of China. Every hotel we stayed at was super comfortable and offered breakfast. We were also offered lunch on most days. Our highlights were absolutely the Great Wall, the Terra-cotta Army, and Pandas!! We also enjoyed the Kung Fu show and all the beautiful architecture and gardens. We would highly recommend Travel China Guide as the tour group to use if you are planning a trip to China.Show more

  I loved the visit to the pandas, the Great Wall,and the terra-cotta warriors, the main choice for the trip. I was a little disappointed with the imperial palace. I would have taken a quick walk through, because the buildings were too dark to see anything. Way too crowded to even try to see into them. Maybe a video of the interiors. Have screen in the bus to show before arrival, then a quick photo walk through. With small groups, I would consider using the metro. All that time stuck in traffic is frustrating and a waste of time. The noodle show was fine, but eat elsewhere, and watch the show from the front row seats. I’m not sure about the dinner with the family, food was fine, but I felt a little uncomfortable in their home. Two groups at one time was a bit much. The English of the guides was good, but accent was a little difficult at times, required concentration by me. .? Ocean really needed to use a mike. He was talking from the front seat and it was difficult to hear in the back. I really didn’t like the last van. Windows were small and difficult to see out, and high seat backs made it difficult to hear, I felt like I was in a cage! I liked the small group size. The hotels were extremely expensive, I would have been happier with a smaller hotel and less cost. The hotel in Beijing was way too crowded, I already commented on that one. I had difficulty even finding a seat at breakfast. People were shoving and pushing, not a pleasant atmosphere.Show more

  If you have been searching the net and wondering, then wonder no more, this tour is excellent (11 days China Great Wall,warriors,pandas small group.) Great accommodation, modern transport, all you can eat (and drink) provided meals. Friendly knowledgeable guides,special mention to Candy in Beijing. Brilliant! Plenty of attractions as well as the big ticket items. On the go a lot but plenty of free time to explore. a medium level of fitness is needed lots of walking.Travel China Guide made the whole experience easy, comfortable and enjoyable.   she was one of the best guides I had on the tour, she was well spoken, handled our group wonderfully and went above and beyond to answering any questions and to help us out. we had one lady who was partially blind and Candy made it very easy for her family and the group to get were we needed.   I think the itinerary should have included something on the arrival day in Chengdu and Shanghai. Also, I do not think the silk "factory" should be on the itinerary and more time should be allowed at the Great Wall. All of our guides were excellent (Candy, Tracy and Tracy) with the exception of Ryan. He was not very personable and seemed to be on his cell phone a lot. Also, he seemed pompous, with an air of superiority. However, overall, the tour was excellent, and I will definitely recommend it to my friends and colleagues.Show more
