Wonderful tour was just what I was looking for and thank you
- by Kate Mcrorie-cokerGreat experience. Saw and did so much in such a short period of time and the itinerary was well thought out but allowing flexibility for people to choose to do their own thing. They were accommodating, kind, and professional. Best organized tour experience I've had. Will definitely use G adventures again.

There was a bit of misunderstanding about the contents of the tour but they did their best to solve the problem. The safaris are worth doing. The hotel is nice. The driver was also a great guy.
- by Sebastian PieperOverall it was a good trip. I have a reliable driver for my entire trip myself. The organizer, Mr Sanjeev, did some good suggestions as how to, for a trip to suit my case. Have had some misunderstanding about money at the end but was sorted out ok.

The company of the fellow travellers, the great views
- by Petertoo may to mention really, but Bhaktipur stands out, several temples and the repeated opportunities to view the Himalayas. This involved more walking (including 1000's of steps) than I had anticipated. Nevertheless, the effort was worth it

Amazing guide and experience!
- by Christine SchmidtI was really happy to be able to realize my long-held dream of traveling to Nepal. The person in charge at the tour company and the driver were very nice. However, one thing that bothered me was that the younger brother of our guide in Pokhara runs a restaurant, so my husband wanted to help out and chose that restaurant for lunch. We treated the driver and guide, but they didn't say thank you. What surprised me was that the prices were higher than other restaurants and that a 10% tip had been added on arbitrarily. We weren't shown the menu, so we didn't know the regular prices. That was a bit disappointing. Anyway Thank you so much for wonderful Nepal Tour

Review: Highlights of Nepal This 11-day tour provides a remarkable opportunity to experience the best that Nepal has to offer. From the bustling streets of its vibrant cities to the tranquility of its natural landscapes, the itinerary beautifully balances culture, adventure, and relaxation. The journey includes exploring the dynamic city life, thrilling safaris in the wilderness, serene river cruising, invigorating hikes through picturesque trails, and awe-inspiring moments witnessing both sunrise and sunset over the majestic Himalayan ranges. My tour guide, Raj, has been an incredible asset throughout this trip. His extensive knowledge of Nepal’s history, culture, and hidden gems, combined with his friendly and professional demeanor, has truly enhanced the overall experience. He has gone out of his way to make every moment enjoyable, ensuring that all aspects of the trip run smoothly. While the tour has been exceptional, a few improvements could elevate the experience further. For instance, enhancing transportation between cities with dedicated buses or private cars would provide greater comfort and convenience for travelers. Additionally, offering a detailed itinerary in advance would allow participants to better plan and build anticipation for the adventure ahead. Nepal is a country of unparalleled beauty and charm, and this tour has left me with unforgettable memories. Whether you’re an adventure enthusiast, a nature lover, or someone seeking cultural immersion, Nepal has something truly special to offer.
- by Bingzhi Benjamin LiWe booked the Langtang valley trek with Tour Radar and paid extra to have a guide - Dipesh and porter - Milan, who were invaluable, kind, patient, great humour (they were 23- we are 50!) especially when my friend was unwell at the top of the valley. Great company to use, good consistent communication beforehand and during our stay in KTM. The package included a guide with a privatee car for a few hours to see the cultural hotshots in KTM before the trek and who also dropped us off for our onward flight at the end of the trek. We stayed in hotel moonlight in KTM before and after the trek which was comfortable with a good restaurant and spa attached where we had very reasonably priced treatments. Great value. Great customer service. Great trek itinerary and amazing staff on the ground. Would def. recommend.

I recently completed the Everest Base Camp Trek with Sherpa Expedition, and it was absolutely life-changing. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel safe and well-prepared for the challenging trek ahead. Our Sherpas were not only highly experienced but also incredibly friendly and supportive throughout the journey. The views along the way were breathtaking, and reaching the base camp itself felt like a dream come true. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to guide me through this incredible adventure!
- by Emily Grace JohnsonReally great experience! Dawa Sherpa and Dorje were both incredible and we would not have made it without them. The weather did mean we were delayed 4 days in starting the trek but Ram did his best to help us. The scenery and the history were absolutely beautiful and the accommodation including the food were absolutely better than expected. We made friends for life with others on the tour and would absolutely recommend this trek to anyone.

Cold weather and warm people. From the moment I booked the trip, the company was extremely responsive, friendly, and informative. The jeep ride was crowded but beautiful. Make sure to keep your phone within arm's reach for quick pictures. The food was great and was always western portion sizes. The lodges were cold but comfortable. The distances were appropriate for each day with our longest day only being about 17 miles. Recommendations: Bring a light sleeping bag. They can loan one to you but it's heavy and it takes up a lot of space. Don't bring just one big jacket. Bring layers with successive warmth ratings so you can add or remove clothing as you walk. My rain jacket and rain pants were great choices for lightweight layers to help block the extreme winds. About 20000 rupees should help cover extra costs and the tip for your guide (if your guide is as awesome as mine was).
- by Thomas MoxleyThis is the second time that I've opted to do a hike with this company. Administrative matters were sorted out seamlessly, and the team accommodated our requests. Our guide Buddha was very resourceful and patient. We managed to, in spite of monsoon rains, get a beautiful view of the mountain ranges at Ghorepani. Highly recommend.

Trip Of A Lifetime! Agate Travel planned and executed an amazing 7 day trip of Nepal for our family. We had best-in-class guides that were very in tuned to our needs and who went out of their way to make sure we had one incredible experience after another. The highlights are too many to mention and include visiting ancient temples and historical sites, exploring picturesque villages, seeing spectacular views of the Himalaya mountains, dining with a Nepali family, hearing monks chant, learning to make mo-mos, taking a stunning hike, walking the streets from Kathmandu and so much more. Everywhere we met the kindest people, enjoyed excellent food, and stayed in boutique hotels. Our travel agent Anki regularly checked in with us and helped with any pivots we want to make. The trip was outstanding and Nepal a magical country to visit. If it is on your radar to go, don’t hesitate and take the trip!
- by Christine Peggau PeggauI am not much of a reviewer. But the service provided by TCG needs to be recommended and hence this review. I undertook this trip in mid September. Normally, rainy season should have been over, but this year it was an extended rainy season, so seasonal drizzles were common. I was met at the airport by my Guide Mr. Dinesh. An excellent person with an overall information of the history and geography of any location in Kathmandu. I was boarded in a Heritage hotel (Wifi in the hotels are not good because of mountainous region. Better to opt for a local number with 4G Data). The local cuisine (I prefer to eat the locality cuisine of the place I visit, in this case Nepali food), was awesome. Even Nepal has different cuisines like Newari, Momos, Thakali, etc.). Thamel is the tourist place of Kathmandu and most visited by all tourists, which I avoided as best as I could. Most temples, do not allow photography, so please do check before clicking away. Snakes are revered animals in Nepal. The Chandragiri hill and the Mountain flight were the sightseeing highlights of this trip. Chandragiri Hills have a cable car ride to and fro. The mountain flight is operated in the mornings. Its best to take the first mountain flight of the day (as the sky is likely to be more clearer). According to me a trip is made most memorable by the guide (Mr. Dinesh Maharjan), The vehicle and the driver (Mr. Arjun) and the company which organised this trip with their local partners (in this case TCG and Associate Travel). Special thanks to Lexi from TCG who organised this whole trip along with all her team members.

My time in Bhutan with Devin and Norbu was magical. They were very attentive and told me so many stories about the history and legends of the country. I am glad I did the 8 day trip because I got to see so many beautiful Dzongs. I really enjoyed the Phobjikha Valley where I saw the rare and beautiful black necked cranes. The tiger’s nest hike was an extraordinary dream. But I enjoyed the over the mountain hike into the Phobjikha Valley even more, as in 5 hours Devin and I saw no other other humans and were treated to beautiful rhododendron forests and fields of yaks at the top. Once I expressed my desire to eat where they ate, the lunches improved. I got to have amazing momo’s everywhere. There is not a lot to do at night, so bring a book about Bhutan to supplement what you are learning each day. What a beautiful, peaceful country and what a joy it was to have a safe and funny driver and such a knowledgeable flexible guide.
- by Carol PotterI don’t think it was easy. I would call it moderat, you walk for 4-5 hours every day up and down mainly on the roads sometimes litter with trash and there is some traffic there. if you get tired, you can always take a ride that’s the plus

Our trek to the Annapurna Base Camp in early December 2024 was an unforgettable adventure, impeccably organized by Dil Gurung and his team. From the flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara and back to being picked up in Pokhara and meeting our guide and porter, renting sleeping bags and a duffle bag, every detail was handled flawlessly. Our knowledgeable guide, Iman Gurung, and our very strong porter, Laudi Gurung, were incredibly helpful and always there when we needed them. Especially on a day when we weren't feeling our best, they took great care of us. We thank Dil, Iman and Laudi for this amazing experience. If we come back to Nepal for another trip, we would be happy to do it with the same team!
- by David BaurAlpine Ramble was simply incredible from start to finish. My wife and I decided to do the Annapurna Circuit for our honeymoon. We found Alpine Ramble online and booked our trek directly with them. They customized our trek based on our schedule, took care of all tourist and trekking permits, car and plane bookings, etc. Once we arrived in Kathmandu, they picked us up and dropped us off to our hotel. The next day, Dil from Alpine Ramble came to our hotel and walked us through the entire trek itinerary. He also introduced us to our wonderful guide, Nir. From there, we embarked on the trek. Every step of the way, our guide, Nir, and our porter, Raju, were incredibly kind, gracious, thoughtful, helpful, and trustworthy. They cared about our experience, how we were acclimatizing, what we ate, and even the kind of room we got at the Tea House. We are so grateful for Alpine Ramble and for Dil, Nir, and Raju. They were professional and friendly and made our honeymoon wonderful. A truly life-changing trip made possible by Alpine Ramble!

Appalling!!! Unfortunately I can’t give 0*. Local operations couldn’t tell the truth if their life depended on it. Go to the Himalayas and experience alpine beauty. First 4 nights staying in tents in a paddock in full sun, temperatures 30+, nowhere to shelter, incessant dog barking during the nights, cook was the only good thing. Nepal management cancelled the trek and 2 days later I have received no notice and no communication of the change to arrangements ie everything is now my cost… Accom, food, airport transfers etc. I’m still finding things I’m now responsible for. Zero communication. Even told it was my fault for organising flights the day after the scheduled finish date!! Not only was I dumped in a foreign country with no communication but I had acquired Covid and a few nice words was my prize for acquiring it. They kep lying say follow these rules… when there were no rules. DO NOT USE WORLD EXPEDITIONS in Nepal. WEX head office has no empathy. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
- by Roger McPheeOverall, the trip matched the itinerary well, so potential travelers have a good idea of what to expect. The rating of 5 for activity level is accurate in that the trek is physically demanding, but doesn't require much (if any) prior training for the average fit adult. However, it does take an enormous amount of willpower to keep going through illness (everyone on the trip got gastro at some point), lack of sleep due to the high elevation, sore feet, etc. If you're up to the challenge, Bhim and Narayan-our guides-were incredible and truly made the trip!
