Itinerary
- Day 1
Tashkent to Samarkand
You'll arrive in Tashkent this morning and get settled at your hotel. After breakfast, your guide meets you to explore the city's mix of old and new architecture. The day takes you through Khast-Imam Square with its ancient madrasahs, then into Chorsu Bazaar where spice vendors and handicraft sellers fill the colorful stalls. You'll also see Independence Square and Amir Temur Square before checking out the Tashkent Metro stations, which are decorated like an underground art gallery. By evening, you'll head to the train station and board a comfortable train to Samarkand, arriving at your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Samarkand
After breakfast, you'll spend the day exploring Samarkand's main attractions along the Silk Road. Start at Registan Square where three grand madrasahs display impressive Islamic architecture. From there, you'll see the Gur-e Amir Mausoleum with its distinctive turquoise dome, then walk through the Bibi-Khanym Mosque. Later you'll wander the Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis with its blue-tiled mausoleums and end your day at the Ulugbek Observatory, where you can learn about the work of an astronomer who once studied the stars from this very location.

- Day 3
Samarkand to Bukhara
After breakfast, you'll travel across the Kyzylkum plains toward Bukhara, following the same route that ancient caravans used to connect one oasis to another. Once you arrive, you'll step into the old town and explore the Po-i-Kalyan Complex with its elegant minaret. The afternoon includes the Miri-Arab Madrasa, Magoki-Attori Mosque, and Ulugbek Madrasa, each with unique history and details. You'll end the day at Lyabi-Hauz Square where mulberry trees shade a reflecting pool, creating a peaceful spot to relax after the journey.

- Day 4
Bukhara
You'll start with breakfast at the hotel before exploring more of Bukhara's buildings. The morning takes you to the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, an important example of early Islamic architecture, and the Chashma Ayub Mausoleum connected to a legend about Prophet Job. You'll walk through the local bazaar, then see the Bolo-Khauz Mosque and the Ark Citadel with its historic Zindan prison. In the afternoon, you'll travel out to Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa Palace and the Mausoleum of Bakhouddin Naqshbandi. The day ends with a traditional Uzbek home experience where you'll learn to make plov and enjoy a homemade dinner.

- Day 5
Bukhara to Khiva
After breakfast, you'll travel across the Kyzyl-Kum Desert and along the Amudarya River, seeing vast golden sands and rippling dunes that show you what Silk Road travel was actually like. You'll stop for lunch along the way before continuing to Khiva, a well-preserved medieval city that feels like walking through history. Once you arrive, you'll have free time to wander the narrow streets, check out traditional workshops, and browse shops for souvenirs.

- Day 6
Khiva to Tashkent
After breakfast, you'll explore Ichan-Kala, the walled inner city of Khiva and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mudbrick walls, minarets, and madrasahs here make it one of Central Asia's most interesting cities to walk through. You'll see the Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, Kunya-Ark Fortress, and the tall Islam Hajji Minaret. After lunch, you'll visit Tash Khauli Palace, the Juma Mosque (which has 200 carved wooden columns), Muhammad Aminkhan Madrasah, and the Avesta Museum. Later you'll transfer to Urgench for a flight to Tashkent, then head to your hotel to check in and rest.

An early transfer to the airport is arranged for your international flight. Depending on when your flight leaves, you'll either have breakfast or a lunch box provided before you depart.
