Warsaw
A local guide takes you on a panoramic tour covering the restored Old Town with its Royal Palace and cobblestone streets, the Palace of Culture, and Lazienki Park where you'll see the Chopin Monument. The afternoon opens up for you to visit the National Museum or Warsaw Rising Museum on your own, or just wander through the city center if you prefer.

- Day 3
Warsaw - Kielce - Tarnow - Krakow
You'll travel through the forested Malopolska region, stopping in Kielce to walk around its 11th-century center with its cathedral and bishop's palace. From there, you'll drive through villages and landscapes toward the medieval town of Tarnow, where Renaissance and Gothic architecture fills the streets. Late afternoon brings you to Krakow, and you'll have a chance to stroll through the lively Market Square before the day ends.

Krakow
You'll begin with a guided panoramic tour through Krakow's UNESCO-listed Old Town, walking through medieval streets and seeing the expansive Market Square. Wawel Castle is part of the tour as well. After that wraps up, the afternoon is open for you to relax or do your own thing around the city. If you're interested, there's an optional trip to Wieliczka Salt Mines available that you can add on.

- Day 5
Krakow - Kalwaria Zebrzydowska - Wadowice - Auschwitz - Katowice
You'll start at Kalwaria Zebrzydowska monastery and chapel complex, a UNESCO pilgrimage site, then move on to see the wooden church in Barwald Dolny. Next comes Wadowice, birthplace of Pope John Paul II, where you can visit his museum house or basilica. The afternoon includes touring Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial and museum, followed by the Nikiszowiec neighborhood with its distinctive miners' architecture. You'll finish the day in Katowice.

- Day 6
Katowice - Opole - Wroclaw
Travel to Opole for a coffee break in its well-preserved old town, then head to the Village Museum, an open-air space showing rural Polish life from the late 1800s with wooden buildings, mills, churches, and farms. After that, continue to Wroclaw, a city known for its beautiful bridges and canals. An afternoon boat ride on the canals follows, with free time left to explore on your own.

You'll reach Poznan, one of Poland's oldest cities, to see the impressive Market Square and its Renaissance Town Hall. At noon, you can watch the charming 16th-century tradition of two mechanical goats butting heads. From there, travel to Torun, a Gothic walled UNESCO city and birthplace of Copernicus, with an option to visit his museum. Late afternoon brings you to Gdansk for an evening walk through the vibrant historic center.

Gdansk - Sopot - Gdansk
After breakfast, you'll visit the European Solidarity Center to learn how the Solidarity union helped end Soviet rule and see the monument to fallen workers, plus pass by the Museum of the Second World War. Later, head to the elegant seaside resort of Sopot on the Baltic Sea to walk along its famous long wooden pier. You'll have time for lunch and beach walks before returning to Gdansk with free time to explore the city.

Gdansk - Malbork - Frombork - Elblag - Warsaw
Visit Malbork's impressive 13th-century castle, one of Europe's largest medieval fortresses built by the Teutonic Order. Travel to Frombork on Poland's northeastern coast, a quiet village with a walled complex where Copernicus is buried. Then explore the Elblag Canal, a 19th-century engineering marvel where boats are pulled over land on rails to handle elevation changes, and tour the canal museum. You'll return to Warsaw by the end of the day.
