On Day 1, airport pick-up is not included. On the last day, the tour will end in the Ximending area, and airport drop-off is also not included. If you would like us to arrange airport transfer service, the cost is USD 79 per trip (driver only, 5-seat vehicle). Of course, you are also welcome to take a taxi on your own if you prefer.

The tour will end in Taipei, specifically in the Ximending area, which is one of the most convenient and lively districts in the city. Our hotel in Taipei is Hù House, located in the Ximending area. You are very welcome to book additional nights before or after the tour on your own, as the location is extremely convenient for shopping, dining, and transportation. This tour is designed as a fully inclusive itinerary, and there are no optional or add-on tours during the trip. If you would like to add any extra activities outside the itinerary, you are welcome to arrange them independently based on your personal interests.

This trip had a great itinerary with stops at all the sites I wanted to see, though I could have done without one or two of the stops at fish markets/factories. My main concern is that we didn't have a guide. We had an excellent driver, but he did not act as a guide. He was not very communicative and mostly only spoke when we asked questions. In many instances, he would drive up to a place and say "I'll be back to pick you up here in two hours." We literally had to ask what we were visiting and whether we needed tickets. When he did talk, he was very hard to understand. All of us struggled to understand him and all of us were disappointed that we got so little direction, so little information about the places we visited. That was an huge disappointment. This tour should not be advertised as fully guided if there is not a dedicated guide. I feel like I paid for a "guided" tour but didn't get a guide. The accommodations were good, but the Hu Hotel in Taipei is not in a good location for tourists.Show more

- For any tour departing before July 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of $75 is required to confirm your booking with UME Travel Co. Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
