- Day 1
Keflavík to Selfoss
Your plane touches down in Iceland and you'll spot volcanoes and glaciers cutting through the clouds as you descend. After collecting your rental car at Keflavík Airport, the drive toward Selfoss takes you through Iceland's raw, otherworldly terrain. You'll settle into your accommodation for the night and get ready for what's ahead.

- Day 2
South Coast
Driving along the South Coast, you'll see some of Iceland's most famous natural features. Walk right behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall and feel the mist on your face, then head to Skógafoss where rainbows often appear in the spray. Later you'll find the abandoned plane wreck sitting on black sand, and by evening you can check out Dyrhólaey's sea arch and Reynisfjara Beach with its massive basalt columns rising from the shore.

- Day 3
Golden Circle
The Golden Circle route fills your day with geological wonders. At Haukadalur, you'll watch Strokkur geyser erupt and shoot water high into the air every few minutes. Gullfoss waterfall drops dramatically into a canyon below, and then you'll drive to Thingvellir National Park where the continental plates are actually visible and you can walk between them. Öxarárfoss waterfall flows through the area, adding to the landscape's dramatic character.

- Day 4
Snæfellsnes Peninsula
The Snæfellsnes Peninsula offers something different with steep cliffs and volcanic terrain. Start at Ytri Tunga beach to look for seals lounging on the sand, then drive to Búðakirkja, a black wooden church standing alone in the landscape. After climbing Saxhóll volcanic crater for views across to Snæfellsjökull glacier, you'll finish at Kirkjufell Mountain with its waterfall Kirkjufellsfoss nearby. The peninsula really shows Iceland's variety in a single day.

- Day 5
Reykjavík
This day feels completely different after all the hiking and driving. Sky Lagoon sits just outside Reykjavík, and you'll float in the warm mineral-rich waters while steam rises around you and the North Atlantic horizon stretches out. As the sun sets, the experience becomes even more peaceful. Afterward, head into Reykjavík to walk around, check out the architecture, and see what the city's culture is all about.

Reykjavík to Keflavík
Your time in Iceland ends today. You'll drive back to Keflavík Airport to return your rental car, thinking back on everything you've seen from waterfalls and geysers to volcanic craters and glaciers. The flight home gives you time to process the whole journey and all those raw, powerful landscapes you've experienced.
