We had a great time on this tour. My wife and I have enjoyed this style of travel where the operator arranges the transpotstion and hotels, and maybe a tour or two, but not much else. The time is free for our own explaration but the basics are taken care of and provided at good value through their contacts and booking ability. I'll caution anyone who requires a lot of handholding that this may not work for you. You will need to be comfotatble with navigating with a smart phone and should have WhatsApp installed for communication. Every hotel was great and the transportation events worked flawlessly, but we did not have a constant guide. Guides appeared when they knew help was needed. such as transferring to the island ferries. Again, we enjoyed the trip a lot and would do this style of tour again. Our guides did a good job, taking good care of us. The bus, the hotels were very comfortable. My major complaint is, that the itinerary we received was only partially accurate. In Pergamon we did not go to the steepest Acropolis instead we visited Asclepius, yet both are mentioned in the itineray. The itinerary from Greca talks about visiting Bursa, Green Mosque...Apparently that is left out, yet it is still part of the itinerary. We never received clear instructions where we would be met in the arrival hall at Istanbul airport, even though I asked ahead of time. It took acphone call to figure it out! How difficult is it to let us know that we had to go to exit 9!!! So Greca is really not updating the itinerary. There is a major communication issue and I am not haooy about it!Show more
