Valais to Zermatt
You'll drive into Valais and head toward Täsch near Zermatt, where you park your car for the rest of the trip. From there, it's a train ride to Zermatt itself, a car-free village nestled at the base of the Matterhorn. Spend your afternoon walking around the village streets, taking in the mountain scenery from different angles. The Matterhorn dominates the views here, and you'll notice how quiet everything is without car traffic. Grab dinner somewhere local and settle in for the night in Zermatt.

- Day 2
Zermatt to St. Moritz
You'll board the Glacier Express for an 8-hour train journey through the Swiss Alps. The route crosses 291 bridges and winds through 196 tunnels, taking you past mountain forests, alpine meadows, and traditional valleys as it climbs to Oberalp Pass at 2,033m. From your seat, you can watch the scenery unfold while listening to audio commentary. Lunch is a 3-course meal served right at your table during the ride. By evening, you'll pull into St. Moritz, the glamorous mountain town where you're staying the night.

St. Moritz
The morning and early afternoon are yours to spend in St. Moritz however you like. You can walk around the fashionable shops and restaurants, or head out for a scenic walk along the lake shore if you prefer getting outdoors. Later, you'll take a train back to Zermatt (this is included with your package). Once there, you have options to arrange onward travel by car or stay longer if that works better for your plans.
