- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and check into your hotel, then have the rest of the day to get a feel for the city and see what it has to offer with its mix of old and new. This evening, meet up with your Travel Director and the group for a light meal to start things off.

- Day 2
Athens
Morning includes a guided tour of ancient Athens with a Local Specialist, hitting the Acropolis and the Parthenon, then the Acropolis Museum. You'll also pass Hadrian's Arch and the Olympic Stadium. The afternoon is free time to wander through Plaka, relax in Syntagma Square, or hunt down good souvlaki around the city.

Athens to Corinth - Mycenae - Nafplion
Head out of Athens and drive through the Corinth Canal into the Peloponnese. In Corinth, a Local Specialist shows you around the ancient city, then you move on to Mycenae for the Beehive Tombs, Lion Gate, and what's left of Agamemnon's palace. A stop at Epidaurus lets you see the ancient theatre and Sanctuary of Asclepius before you reach Nafplion for dinner.

- Day 4
Nafplion to Olympia
Drive through the Arcadian mountains toward Olympia, stopping at a family honey farm where you'll taste thyme honey and learn about how they're protecting the region's biodiversity. Later, explore the ancient Olympic Games site, then spend the evening at a local olive and wine estate with homemade food and traditional dancing.

Olympia to Patras to Delphi
Start with a guided tour of the ancient Olympic site with a Local Specialist, seeing the Temples of Zeus and Hera and the museum. Head north to Patras, cross the Gulf of Corinth, and travel to Delphi. There's an optional interactive cooking lesson in the afternoon if you're interested in trying local dishes.

- Day 6
Delphi to Thermopylae to Kalambaka
Follow the Sacred Way with your Local Specialist toward the Temple of Apollo, checking out statues from the Pythian Games. Then move to Thermopylae to visit the Leonidas Monument and learn about the Spartan stand. From there, cross the Thessaly plain heading toward Kalambaka.

At the UNESCO site of Meteora, visit two of the six Eastern Orthodox monasteries perched on massive rock towers with a Local Specialist. After exploring these ancient structures, head back to Athens for a final dinner with the group, going over highlights from the trip.

Athens
Set out on an Aegean Sea cruise, sailing past Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. You'll see hidden coves and pine-covered slopes, and stop to walk through the charming streets on some of the islands. Lunch happens on board, and you're back at your hotel by evening.
