The trip was supposed to be the highlight of my vacation. Unfortunately, from start to finish, it was not what I had expected. It began with the pickup time being moved from 8 p.m. to 6 p.m., and each traveler was given a different explanation for this change. The fact seems to be that boats without radar are not allowed to leave the harbor of Labuan Bajo in the dark, which is why we had to board so early. The conditions on board, especially regarding hygiene, were poor. I was sick for two days, and several other travelers were affected as well, with some vomiting after meals. Promised excursions were also not carried out. On the third day, we were supposed to visit two beaches, but we spent the entire day on the water without going ashore, and no explanation was given. All travelers paid different amounts. I personally paid far too much through TourRadar, which is very disappointing because I had not had any negative experiences with them before, but in this case, I felt let down—especially since I only received a partial refund. The issue with the missing radar made me very anxious. We were traveling mostly at night, and the captain seemed to rely on being able to see any potential danger in time. We went through very rough waves, and the boat broke down multiple times, requiring repairs even at night or early in the morning when other boats came to fix it. There was a whirlpool on board, but it couldn’t be filled due to a lack of water. Additionally, the shower water was very stale and smelled like manure, so you didn’t feel any cleaner after showering. I cannot recommend this trip, mainly because I did not feel safe, became ill, and because the communication—both before and during the trip—was very poorShow more

I'd like to start by saying this was a great trip with some amazing crew! However like the other review says I think that calling this '5 days' is very ambitious marketing... You board the boat at 10pm Day 1 with a 4am wake up for Day 2 (Padar Island hike) Day 2 is AMAZING and full of adventure/activities. Day 3 you essentially spend all day sailing, I enjoyed this but others felt like it was dull. Day 4 AMAZING, whale sharks and snorkelling, another busy day of fun, you then sail to the dock and Day 5 you leave the boat at approx 8am with an included 3 hour taxi drive to Senggigi So day 1 and 5 really dont exist. but the middle 3 days are great. Accommodation was good apart from the bathroom plumbing being pretty awful. Aircon in the cabin worked well and we always had plenty of food/drink/snacks included. The crew were really brilliant and fun throughout. They also ensured we were careful around animals and coral which was nice to see.Show more
