    Buenos Aires

    Start your trip in Buenos Aires with the evening ahead to see what the city has to offer. The architecture here pulls from Belle Epoque design, and there are sidewalk cafes throughout the neighborhoods. You might head to La Boca for its colorful art walk, or try San Telmo where you'll find antique shops and tango clubs mixed into the bohemian atmosphere.

  2. Day 2

    Buenos Aires to Ushuaia

    Fly from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia this morning, then board the Scenic Eclipse. Once you're settled, the ship heads through the Beagle Channel where you'll see the Andean mountains from the water. You can raise a glass from your private verandah or the Observation Deck as your Antarctic expedition gets underway.

  3. Day 3

    Drake Passage

    Today crosses the Drake Passage, the waterway between South America and Antarctica. Have breakfast in your suite or meet other passengers at the Yacht Club. The Discovery Team gives an introductory presentation about polar excursions and how the Zodiac boats work. Later in the evening, there's entertainment in the theatre.

The Discovery Team, which includes geologists, historians, ornithologists, marine biologists, and glaciologists, helps you spot whale blows and other wildlife in the distance.

    Antarctica

Daily excursions depend on ice and weather, planned by the Captain and Discovery Team to take advantage of 18-20 hours of daylight.
