Is it possible to do the visa on arrival? Can we get support with that?

The visa is on arrival. We provide the visa support (a letter of invitation).

As a single person, I would require a visa to visit Turkmenistan. How does that process work? Do you acquire the visa or am I to apply for it on my own. Also if I booked the tour and was not granted the visa, would my payment be refunded by you?

We will provide the letter of Invitation (LOI) approved by the State Migration Services of Turkmenistan. With that LOI, you will collect your visa at the border. In case your LOI application is rejected, you will have a full refund.

Do I have enough time to apply for the LOI for visa? How will I get the visa?

Yes, you do. The LOI application can result in 10 working days. We provide you with the LOI, and you can get your visa at the border.

I saw that you have tour package of 1/10-4/10 and 8/10-11/10. Will there be tours between these dates like 4/10-8/10?

Between those dates, there is no departure.

We are interested in this tour and we were wondering if you offer it the other way around, starting near the Khiva Boarder and ending at the boarder near Bukhara? We would like to go at the end of april, this year.

I am interested in joining one of your tour packages to Turkmenistan and would like to confirm whether visa processing support is included as part of the package. As I am a Singapore passport holder, I understand that a Letter of Invitation (LOI) and visa are required for entry into Turkmenistan. Could you kindly clarify if your agency handles the LOI application and visa arrangements on behalf of travelers, or if these need to be managed separately? Additionally, please advise on the typical processing time and any documents I would need to provide.

We handle the process of the LOI application on behalf of travelers. It usually takes 7 working days to issue a LOI. As soon as you book the tour, I will send the list of the necessary documents to submit the LOI application to your email.

Will the pickup and dropoff for this tour be at the border crossings? If so, how can we get to and from the border crossings (from which airports or hotels)? Which airport should we fly in to, and how can we get to a hotel in Uzbekistan after the tour ends?

The tour includes the transfer in Turkmenistan. To get to the border from the airport/hotel in Bukhara and get your hotel/airport in Khiva/Urgench after the tour can be done via Yandex Go, which offers affordable transfer options. Closer to the date, we will create a group chat on WhatsApp, so you can communicate with other participants and organise shared transfers.

Which airport for arrival and which for departure? Are we in Uzbekistan and in Turkmenistan?

The tour begins at the border checkpoint near Bukhara city in Uzbekistan and concludes at the border checkpoint near Khiva/Urgench. If you are planning your flights to and from Uzbekistan, be sure to allow several days for travel between the cities to reach the border. There is a direct flight available from Frankfurt to Ashgabat on June 3rd, which means you will arrive in Ashgabat on the morning of June 4th. This timing allows you to join the group tour starting on June 4th. At the end of the tour, you can cross the border into Uzbekistan and then fly back to Germany from Urgench, Samarkand, or Tashkent.

could you please explain how people get to the pick up point and out to the airport after drop off?

If you plan to arrive by land, you will need to arrange self-transfer from Bukhara to the Olot/Farap border checkpoint and cross the border, and our guide will meet you on the Turkmen side. The exit via the border is the same. We will drop you off at the Shavat border checkpoint, and you will cross the border back to Uzbekistan. If you plan to arrive via airport, our representative will meet you at the airport, and we will transfer you to Mary to meet the group. If you plan to leave the country via the airport, we will transfer you back to Ashgabat International Airport.
