So here is a sample of our itinerary: Day 1 - We travel from Bratislava to the High Tatras Mountains and on the way we stop in Banska Stiavnica. We will visit its historical city centre with its narrow roads and lovely cafes and restaurants. Here you can visit the old and new castles. After, we will go to Kalvaria, calvary, and have a chance to go up the hill following the 12 stops and finishing at the top with the chapel where you have a wonderful view of the surroundings. Day 2 - We will visit the High Tatras mains resorts, starting in Stbrske Pleso with its glacial lake and the ski jump tracks used in the ski jump championship in the 70s, which are still standing there. Then we will visit Stary Smokovec and drink some mineral water from the mountains, following to Tatranska Lomnica with its historical hotels, finishing in Zdiar, a goral wooden village (goral stands for mountain people) and you have a chance to visit a museum where you can see how goral people used to live in the past. Day 3 - Today we will visit Kosice historical city centre and its gothic cathedral and water fountain. You can enjoy delicious food and drinks at the cafes and restaurants located in the city centre. Day 4 - We will visit Levoca UNESCO town and its basilica l where you can see the tallest wooden gothic altar in the world and the arts of Mr Pavol of Levoca, a wood crafter. Then we visit Spis castle also a UNESCO site, which is the biggest ruin castle in central Europe, walk on its walls and enjoy the view from the main tower. Then we visit Kezmarok historical city centre, with a UNESCO wooden church, and taking a picture of the city castle from the outside. Day 5 - On the way back to Bratislava, we will stop in Volkolinec, a wooden village located in the middle of the hills surrounded by forests. You will fell like you live in Slovakia 100 years ago, the houses and well preserved and the atmosphere is unique.

Can you please advise if you have an option to share a room with a fellow traveller?

    Accommodation
    • Experience SlovakiaOperatorWritten March 2025

At the moment, for the dates you are interested, we do not have another person to pair you up with. If you are flexible with the dates, there is another lady interested in coming a little earlier, in April, and we could certainly put you two together in the same room.

    • Experience SlovakiaOperatorWritten February 2025

We would like to know if you would be able to start the tour in Easter Slovakia, Poprad Tatry or Kosice, or only from Bratislava.
