Our tour guide Mendee was attentive to our needs and always make sure that we are comfortable and well fed. Mendee was knowledgeable with historical events and has good communication skill with excellent customer service. Our driver Sunday was very helpful even though he doesn't speak English, he always has a smile on his face. It was our first time in Mongolia and we really enjoyed the experience, especially with the host family in their Ger.Show more

This tour primarily takes place in the Gobi. There are many hikes, camel riding, horse riding, and viewing wildlife by way of car. Along the way you will stay in gers with host families, as well as hotels. We visited a few museums as well. Chinggis Khan is a big focus of the tour. Favorites on the trip included seeing ibex climb up vertical rocks, a hike in a river gorge to see a waterfall, and following in the footsteps of Roy Chapman Andrews(the real life Indiana Jones. Our guide was Mendee, who was very knowledgeable, reliable, fun, and a true leader. Highly recommended.Show more

Mongolia is not a country you can travel without a tour if you want to visit the grasslands and desert outside of the capital city, and this was the perfect length of tour to join as someone who had limited time. Both my driver, Muugii, and my guide, Unu, were phenomenal. Muugii knew every road by heart and was so patient in helping me spot the Takhi wild horse, which were what drew me to Mongolia in the first place. Unu answered all my random questions and made my first solo trip feel not lonely at all. While at first, I struggled staying with a nomadic family with no running water, I enjoyed seeing and experiencing their way of life. Getting to make lamb dumplings with the grandma was very meaningful to me. I love horses and seeing all the horses everywhere truly made my heart happy.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 29th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 29th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Tour Mongolia. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Tour Mongolia will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Tour Mongolia" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
