You will learn about the Korean culture, people and customs. Accommodations were carefully selected and wonderful prepared food.   Tourradar and HanaTour did a great job of piecing this tour together for us. They were on top of all our airline transfers to from hotels. They corrected a change we needed done on our Korean Airline tickets, in time which saved a lot of hassle. The tour sizes were perfect with some being as little as 4 of us. The meals for lunch and dinner were excellent, giving us different examples of Korean meals with plenty of side dishes. Our tour Guides were all very enthusiastic about their job, very knowledgeable, and made sure on our travels we never left anything behind such as phones etc. We made an excellent choice in picking this tourShow more

  Even though the 16 days itinerary is put together by different tours, the logistics of my trip were impeccable and always on time. It would have been nice to have the itinerary with more time to make plans around the schedules and a few of the hotels more in line with 4 stars. The highlights were the tour guides and the authentic meals. The guides really cared, they were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to provide the best service and share their history and culture with passion. The meals were authentic and delicious. David in Jeju was exceptional, he loved to shared snacks with everyone :) Mr. Jay and Mr. Han-driver on the 7-day tour around Korea were also incredible, they took care of all of us and made the trip fun and seamless. Even though the driver didn't speak English he was always trying to communicate and smiling. In my opinion, this is a great fast-paced itinerary to get a taste of South Korea, I would have loved to spend more time in some of the cities like Busan, definitely coming back in the near future to discover more of beautiful South Korea.Show more

  As soon as I landed in seoul things went pear shaped. No one to great us at the airport - I have since discovered that I was contacted by whats app - but I didnt have phone coverage - so that was useless. Was not asked about how to contact me prior to leaving and I would have told them. I was travelling with another person who did have phone coverage but they were not contacted. We then caught a taxi 85,000 won later we arrived at the designated hotel on our paperwork only to be told there was no reservation for us. After an hour of stress it was discovered that we were booked in a hotel around the corner - we then had to lug our baggage around on cobbled tread to our hotel. Then - get this - we were given our actual itineries - these were NOT sent to us previously. This was a 3 star hotel (admittedly new and nothing wrong with it - but not the advertised 4 star). We Had booked a 16 day tour of south korea. The next day we had to find our way to a bus station to go on a tour -not one we had booked and had no idea what tour it was only to be chased onto a tour I would never had gone on. The next tours in seoul were much the same with us having to find our way there and back. Except for one which was the night cruise and park experience. This was beyond a joke - delayed, cold food, no games as told and an uninterested host and a waste of time. We were told in writing that we would be introduced to our tour driver that night to be taken home. Guess what tour guide had no idea and just left us to find our own way home - another $15000 won. The next day tours were no better. We then started our week long tour only to be told that we would have to walk around to the initial hotel to meet the group. By this time we had wisened up to the rorte and said no - guess what they picked us up at our hotel - it was the tour guide and bus driver who had decided to make us walk. I will not get into all the smaller iritating details but there were so many. Next problem I had a fall coming out of a souveneir shop and broke my wrist. We waited for the tour guide to return - he was picking up new people for the tour. When he arrived I told him that I needed to go to the hospital. He made us stay on the tour to the next stop walk 10 mins to the eatery - I then again told him to put us in a taxi and send me to the hospital - he spent another 20mins + buggering around only to tell me that he had 30 other people to look after and I had to wait until the next stop after lunch. We demanded a taxi which he then attended to begrudgingly. Surely there has to be some form of protocol for injuries on tours like these - I was not the oldest on the tour by a long way. The bottom step on the bus was around 30cm and with my right arm out of action I could not pull myself up into the bus - this was a major issue solved with an old coke crate - what is this the 3rd world. Numerous other guests appreciated the assistance in the step on getting into the bus. The other irritating aspect of this tour guide was how he selectively went around to guests asking them to give him a good review (this was overheard by all on the bus). This would be an excellent tour with refining.Show more
