However, there is much more beneath the surface of this country's remarkable growth in just three generations after the devastation and heartbreak of war. This tour will help highlight the richness and beauty of Korea's culture, which stands apart from its historical ties to China and Japan. Mark T., our tour guide, was exceptional. His passionate knowledge of and enthusiasm for sharing South Korea's culture with our group were invaluable. The itinerary was jam packed with many highlights of historical and tourist locations. High quality accommodations with 2x5-star hotels and the rest 4-star. We enjoyed all the gourmet authentic Korean food that the tour provided. Tour guide Jay was super knowledgeable with Korean history and other information. He was very caring and attentive to all the needs of tour members. Highly recommended!!!
Pickup was late and drop off was late also but over all the tour was a learning experience. Just book it if you want to learn Korean culture

Fabulous tour full of fascinating information on both the history of Korea as well as current lifestyle and language. Wonderful walks through forest and parks as well as museums and historical villages, a taste of old and new Korea. Very comfortable hotel stays each night in a different city. Our wonderful tour guide, Mr Mark (Jeongbeom Tak), was very detailed and comprehensive with guiding us throughout the tour with enthusiasm and passion. Shoutout to our bus driver, Mr Geum, for his amazing driving and parking skills!

When booking, I didn't realize that the trip offered was a modular system and also included individual day tours. In order to take part in the day tours, it is necessary to arrive at a certain meeting point for individual tours. This is why the tour description requires the ability to find your way around. Well, I think this alone is not enough. You also need to know which metro or buses to take, how many stops to go to, which direction to use the bus stop and in which direction to go and that it is good to get a T-Money Card or how to get to a cab. An indication of how long it takes to get there is also important. It would be good if you received this information with your travel documents. Only some Koreans will understand you with English or a written address. And even a good year of Korean lessons may not be enough. I have deducted one star for this.
I felt very well looked after and cared for by the staff at Hana Tour ITC. I experienced the tour guides David (Jeju Do) and Mark (round trip South Korea) and the young lady (DMZ Tour) not only as dedicated guides. They convey with all their heart how much they love their country and what wonderful things there are to discover in this enchanting and magical country, both now and historically/traditionally. They looked after their guests and their well-being with great care and knew how to make their country tangible for the tour participants in a variety of ways. The daily programme was very well organized, which can also be attributed to the professionalism of the guides. The hotels were well chosen. Finally, a big thank you to the drivers, who did their job well and made us feel safe at all times. Thanks to the Hana Tour team.
