We would like to tour Vietnam and Laos. We would like the trip to be 12-16 days long. Currently there are 6 of us committed and possibly 7. I can probably get 9 people committed. What are our options

Where it says English and French does that mean either or mixed? if l wanted to add one night to the last day in Luang Prabang how much would that be?

It was the last minute booking, but it worked out well! Lucy was always in contact with us, and very helpful. We upgraded to 4 star hotels, and were very happy with the choice. It took us just one week to discover the best places in Vietnam and Laos! And we extended the tour for 3 nights to enjoy the sea at Mui Ne. What could be improved with the tour itinerary, in my personal opinion, would be skipping Cu Chi, or making it within one day together with Mekong Delta. I would prefer an extra day at Mui Ne, rather than driving several hours to Cu Chi and back with a numerous group and a hardly English-speaking guide. All other guides spoke good English. Always a great group…. in Luang Prabane l was alone with the guide and driver so felt very privileged. All the transport and hotels were great.   For this tour you just join a group on days you have a tour in Vietnam, and these will be different groups for each tour. Airport pick up/drop off and accommodation are private. For example, on Day 2 in the morning you will join a group for Mekong tour, when the tour ends, you're transferred back to your hotel. Then the next day you will join another group for Half-day Cu Chi tour and back to hotel when it ends.

  I advise you to do this trip from the beginning of Feb 2026. You should avoid the period from 14th - 22nd February 2026 because it's the Lunar New Year - the biggest holiday of Vietnamese people. Many businesses and services may be closed or have limited hours, crowd in some destinations, and you have to pay Public holiday surcharge or Compulsory Gala Dinner.
