- Day 1
Muscat
You'll arrive at Muscat International Airport where your chauffeur will be waiting for you. The afternoon involves a half-day city tour taking in the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Bait Al Zubair Museum. Along the way, you'll stop for photos at the residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and the Al Alam Palace, which sits between two Portuguese forts. By evening, head to Muttrah Souq where you can walk through the market browsing handicrafts and silver items.

- Day 2
Jebel Shams
Breakfast happens at 8:00 am before you start exploring the traditional mud houses in Al Hamra and Misfah villages. Your guide will explain the ancient falaj irrigation system that's recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After that, you'll drive through landscape that resembles a canyon, stopping at remote villages in Wadi Gul and Wadi Nakhar. Later, you'll head to Jebel Shams (Oman's highest peak), visit traditional weaving villages, and then climb to the summit to see views over the canyon before arriving at your resort.

Muscat
Meeting your guide and driver around 8:30 am, you'll set out in a 4WD vehicle through the mountain terrain. The route takes you through Bilad Sayt, a charming mountain village, and then into Wadi Bani Auf where the road has steep switchbacks. You'll visit the 17th-century Nakhal Fort sitting on a peak above an oasis. Near the fort, stop by Ayn A'Thowarah healing warm springs to experience the sulfur-rich waters before your driver takes you back to Muscat.
