The sightseeing places were beautiful and would have liked to have spent more time in each place felt a little rushed...
The sightseeing places were beautiful and would have liked to have spent more time in each place felt a little rushed with no time to enjoy each sight, too much to see in 5 days. Bus should be only 20 or less as too many people created some stress for the leader and 3 languages, became a headache at times. Choices of the first 2 hotels were great 😊, the last one felt over crowded and food was not good. Our tour guide was wonderful she was helpful and very patient in the stressful times.Show more

I left a lengthy review with the Tour Guide. We thought that the tour was very good. We thought our tour guide was very good as well, however, we did not realize that the tour group was in Spanish and in English. Our concern with this is that explanations took twice as long as it was explained in English and Spanish as a result our time at the sight was cut back. For those times when an additional guide was added and the group was split up, we were able to have more time to explore the sigh. The hotel we stayed at, at Ragusa was OUTSTANDING. As a result, any place after that was anti-climatic. It would have been nice to have a meal option Plan A or B. It was known ahead of time that I was allergic to fish and seafood, it seemed like a last minute decision of what to give me at the Salt Mines which resulted in a tomato sandwich versus a pizza without anchovies.Show more

Sicilian Fantasy, tour guide Chetty. Chetty (Chati) was excellent. Always calm and super knowledgable. Spoke 4 Languages: not easy to repetitively do and she did it with energy! She could make us laugh and laugh at herself. I believe we can all agree the difference in any group’s leader is the heart. Learning all the history of ancient ruins there seemed to be one female god and think we had her as our tour guide. I believe she was our Demetar! Goddess of the Harvest.   The tour starts in the late afternoon in Taormina to meet the Tour Leader. The actual touring starts on the morning of September 8. We can also arrange a transfer for you from the airport to the hotel on the first day.
