Muscat
An MTA representative meets you at Muscat International Airport and helps with hotel check-in. You'll have time to rest and settle in after your flight.

- Day 2
Muscat
Start at Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the Middle East's largest mosques. From there, visit Bait Al Zubair Museum and take photos at His Majesty's residence and Al Alam Palace, which sits between two 16th-century Portuguese forts. By evening, head to Muttrah Souq to browse handicrafts and silver items.

- Day 3
Muscat to Ras Al Hadd
Your guide picks you up at 8:30 AM for the drive east to Quriyat. Stop at Bimah Fissure near Dibab to see the crystal-clear water, then Fins for White Beach under tall cliffs. Pass through the village of Tiwi and explore Wadi Tiwi's blue-green pool surrounded by palms. Reach Qalhat, an old Omani seaport, then arrive at Ras Al Hadd in the afternoon. After relaxing, head out for turtle observation before dinner.

Ras Al Hadd to Al Ashkarah
After breakfast, drive to Wahiba Sands for pristine beaches and birdwatching along the Eastern coast. Explore Jalan Bani Bu Hasan and Jalan Bani Bu Ali for traditional Arabic architecture and local culture. Walk through different wadis with varied vegetation and unusual dune formations. Return to your hotel by afternoon.

Al Ashkarah - Wahiba
Following breakfast, journey through Oman's varied terrain from massive dunes to peaceful wadis and coastal areas. Cross Wahiba Sands and the Empty Quarter Deserts, each with their own character. Walk across a dune away from vehicles to experience the quiet of this large desert. Have a BBQ dinner in the evening.

Wahiba - Nizwa
After breakfast and checking out, head to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman's most beautiful wadis with date palms and clear water. Hike into the wadi to find more pools and a cave with an underwater stream, or relax watching locals cliff dive. Next stop is Ibra for ancient mud buildings and its Wednesday souq if timing works out. See Al-Munisifeh, Ibra's old village with deteriorating mud structures. End your day in Nizwa visiting Nizwa Fortress and Souq, where you can try traditional Omani food and shop for handicrafts, garments, and spices.

Nizwa - Jebel Shams
Start with breakfast, then head west to Bahla to see its UNESCO-listed fortress. Take photos at Bahla Fort before continuing to Wadi An Nakhr, a 600 km mountain stretch for trekking and walking through Snake Gorge. Head to Jebel Shams, Oman's highest peak, for views into deep Wadi Ghul. Spend time on photography, trekking the balcony trail, and picnicking before returning to your hotel in late afternoon.
