Your guide and driver pick you up at La Paz airport for the 25-minute transfer to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city at whatever pace feels right at this high altitude.

La Paz
Start with a city tour through La Paz's colonial section to see the architecture, then head to Mirador Killi Killi for views across the city. From there you'll go to Moon Valley to walk through the unusual rock formations, ride the Teleferico cable car for more perspectives, and browse Witches' Market before returning to your hotel by evening.

La Paz to Copacabana - Isla del Sol
Drive about 3.5 hours to Copacabana on Lake Titicaca's shore, then take a boat out to Isla del Sol. After lunch with local food, you'll visit Pilkokaina Temple, an Inca complex, and climb the Escalera del Inca steps to reach a natural spring. Check into your island hotel for the night.

Isla del Sol to La Paz
Take the boat back to Copacabana and visit the Basilica of Our Lady, a 16th-century Spanish shrine dedicated to Virgen de Copacabana. Grab lunch in town, then drive back to La Paz, arriving later in the afternoon.

La Paz to Uyuni
Fly 50 minutes from La Paz to Uyuni and meet your local guide. You'll stop in Colchani Village to see salt crafts and textiles, check out an old salt hotel, then visit the Salt Museum and Isla Incahuasi with its giant cacti. After about 1 hour 45 minutes of driving, you'll reach your hotel.

Uyuni - Lagoon Area and Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve
Head south through Salar de Uyuni toward the Bolivia-Chile border, passing Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, and Honda lagoons where pink flamingos often gather. Later you'll see unusual rock formations in Siloli Desert and finish the day at the Red Lagoon.

Uyuni - Salvador Dali Desert
Leave around 5 am with breakfast packed to reach Sol de Mañana Geyser, about 2 to 2.5 hours away. At 5,000 meters elevation, you'll see geysers and soak in sulfur springs. Then drive to Salvador Dali Desert and Laguna Verde at the base of Licancabur Volcano. The full journey back covers 350 km and takes 6 hours, including a stop at Valley of the Rocks.

Uyuni to La Paz
Head to Uyuni airport and fly back to La Paz, where your guide meets you for the 1.5 hour drive to Tiwanaku Ruins. Walk through this large pre-Columbian site with carved monoliths, archways, and arcades, then check out the two museums before driving back to your hotel.
