Ho Chi Minh City
Morning takes you to the Cu Chi Tunnels to walk through the underground network from the Vietnam War era. After lunch back in Ho Chi Minh City, you'll see the Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and Ben Thanh Market.

Following breakfast, your guide and driver take you out to Cai Be floating markets and Tan Phong island in the Mekong Delta. You can try biking, gardening, or fishing if you're interested. Lunch and dinner happen at a local restaurant before settling in.

You'll also check out Ba Kiet ancient house and local schools. Optional activities include cycling to villages, making handbags and rice paper, or a cooking class at your hotel.

Hoi An
Morning visit to My Son Sanctuary, the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam until the 13th century. The ruins and towers built from the 4th century are waiting to explore. Afternoon is free for relaxation and wandering on your own.

Hoi An

Hue
Begin with a cruise along the Perfume River before heading out to the countryside. Thien Mu Pagoda, remote craft villages making conical hats and incense, and the royal tombs of King Khai Dinh and King Tu Duc are all on your itinerary. After lunch, you'll see the Forbidden City and learn about the Nguyen royal dynasty, then browse the bustling Dong Ba market.

Hanoi
Hanoi exploration starts with learning about Ho Chi Minh's life at his mausoleum, house on stilt, the Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda. Next, the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, comes into view. Following lunch, you'll tour the Museum of Ethnology, then experience a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter and finish with a Water Puppet show.

From Hanoi, travel to the Ancient Capital of Hoa Lu to explore Dinh and Le Sanctuaries. Then you'll experience Tam Coc's three caves by sampan along the Ngo Dong River. These natural caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba) surround you with beautiful rice fields and karst towers. Lunch is at a local restaurant before heading back to Hanoi.

Sapa
The train pulls into Lao Cai Railway Station with views of valleys and rice paddy fields. Your guide transfers you to Sapa for breakfast at Victoria Sapa Hotel. Climbing Ham Rong Mountain gives you panoramic views, then you'll trek to Black H'mong ethnic communities and Cat Cat village. Lunch is at a local restaurant.

Fresh seafood lunch and limestone landscapes with Me Cung cave follow. Swimming, kayaking, or beach time at Ba Trai Dao or Tra Bau are options. A cooking demonstration happens before dinner with optional spa, films, squid fishing, or stargazing later.
