Overall, this was an wonderful trip and very well coordinated by Loco Travel. The guides were excellent. In Hanoi, our guide Twan knew anything you can think of about the city, the history of Vietnam and the historic and important sites. He was also capable of providing detailed tours of the various museums of Hanoi which was really impressive. And his English was really good. Points of criticism: the accommodation was really too basic. The hotel where we stayed most, was on a super busy street in the old center of Hanoi, the breakfast was beyond basic (“no juice today”), the reception did not speak English and it was on booking.com just 20 USD per night. We paid USD 2,200 for the trip (without airfare). Once you find out how cheap transportation, labor and food are in Vietnam, we felt that the value for money was a bit off balance. To continue positively, The out of town destinations and activities were beautiful, including overnight boat trip to Ha Long Bai, home stay in village near Sapa, trekking with guide, going up the cable car
