Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi to Jaipur
Your driver picks you up from Delhi airport or your hotel and takes you to Jaipur, which is about 3.5 to 4 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive, your guide meets you and you'll head to Amber Fort first, where you can walk through the palace complex and take in the views over the city. From there, you'll check out City Palace, which is still partially used as a royal residence, then move on to Jal Mahal, the water palace that sits in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Later in the afternoon, you'll see Hawa Mahal, the distinctive pink five-story structure with its small windows, and then visit Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observation site with its unusual instruments and structures. After you're done sightseeing, your driver takes you back to Delhi airport or your hotel.
