Mt Hagen
The airport pickup gets you to the Highlander Hotel where you'll check into your standard room. After settling in, you have the evening to relax before dinner.

- Day 2
Mt. Hagen - Paiya
You'll start early with breakfast, then take about a 45-minute transfer to Paiya village. Once there, you can watch performers get ready with traditional decorations before the mini show kicks off. The main festival brings around 12 groups performing different dances, mock fighting, and traditional marriage ceremonies throughout the day. By evening, you'll have local Mumu cuisine cooked in an underground oven, which is something special to try. If you want to do more, there's an optional afternoon activity to see Birds of Paradise, or you can head back to the hotel and relax instead.

Mt Hagen Show
Two full days at the Mount Hagen Show, where you'll see coastal, lowland, and highlands sing-sing groups. The festival brings together different performers reflecting the varied landscapes across Papua New Guinea.
