    This particular tour is a group trip with around 50 people on the bus, so unfortunately, the operator isn't able to arrange it as a private tour. If you're interested in creating a private trip, could you share: your preferred travel dates in September, number of days you'd like to travel, whether you have a specific itinerary or route in mind, ages of travelers, and approximate budget per person.

    We do not discriminate on age. We only ask that you are able to changes seats while on tour, feel comfortable climbing full flights of stairs, walk on cobblestone or uneven walkways.

    We do not assist with arranging the flights. Single rooms have an additional $350 USD per person. November 9, 2025 departure is confirmed, with additional departures on November 17 and November 23, 2025.

  One of the children is under age 2 and one will be 41/2 when we arrive. The toddler would not need a bed of her own as her parents would bring one for her. Will there be a problem with transporting the children? Is it possible to get rooms large enough for the children to sleep with their parents (or in connecting rooms)? Would this change/decrease the price per person if we need less rooms?

    We will have children that are from age 9 down to age 1, the children would need to sleep in the same or connecting (pass through from one room to another) and we would need 3 or 5 rooms max. We could do something like one sunrise hike and some other hikes. This is 2 older adults (roughly age 60) 4 healthy and regularly exercising adults with 5 children ages 1-9. We are willing to walk a lot to see beautiful scenery or tours of castles or distilleries. We would prefer to all ride together in a private vehicle but are not opposed to some public transportation or split into 2 groups. We would need transportation but not certain if it would be to and from the airport or not at this point as we want to rest a day after we arrive--children and jet-lag don't mix well.

    This tour operator can only accommodate travelers from the age of five and above, so unfortunately, children younger than five won't be eligible to join this trip, as they are quite strict with their age requirements. As for rooming arrangements, typically, it will be two people per room, with an adult and a child under 18 sharing if it's a family booking.

  Why does your tour limit age as 80? I will turn 83 5/11/24. I am in good health take minimal medication. I work as a substitute teacher almost every day. I just spent four hours working in my yard, mulch and planting a few flowers. Of course now that I have cleaned up, I will spend the remainder of the day relaxing and perhaps take a 30 minute walk late. I don't feel old at 82. It does not really matter, but I am curious.

    There is an age requirement for most of our vacations that travelers must be at least 5 years old. We have found that children under 5 do not do well with escorted and planned vacations. Children 5-17 receive a discount on most escorted tours.
