  Sri Lanka has a way of making every day feel completely different. The 10-day itinerary was a wonderful introduction to the country, combining ancient cities, cultural experiences, mountains, wildlife and the coast. Anuradhapura and Mihintale were fascinating, while Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa gave a real sense of Sri Lanka’s history. Dambulla and Kandy added beautiful cultural highlights, including the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Kandyan dance. Nuwara Eliya was especially scenic, with the tea factory, botanical garden and Gregory Lake. Yala brought an exciting safari experience before the journey continued to Galle and Mirissa. Private transportation made everything comfortable and straightforward. Lanka Safe Tours provided a well-organised route with a great balance of sightseeing and relaxation.Show more

  This journey offered a wonderful mix of history, culture, nature and unforgettable experiences from start to finish. The ancient sites at Anuradhapura and Mihintale provided a fascinating beginning, followed by Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. Dambulla’s cave temple was another beautiful cultural stop before reaching Kandy. The city had a completely different atmosphere, especially around the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and during the Kandyan dance performance. Prasanna was an excellent guide throughout our journey, always friendly, patient, and attentive. His local knowledge, helpful suggestions, and thoughtful support made travelling between destinations comfortable, smooth, and enjoyable. Lanka Safe Tours made travelling between all these destinations comfortable through private transportation and organised arrangements. Nuwara Eliya was probably the most scenic part of the route, with tea plantations, the botanical garden and Gregory Lake. After the peaceful hill country, Yala National Park brought plenty of excitement with the jeep safari. The final days around Galle and Mirissa were more relaxed, with time to enjoy the coastal atmosphere.Show more

  It is hard to pick just one favourite part of this journey because every region offered something different. The ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were fascinating, while Mihintale added another beautiful historical and cultural experience. Sigiriya Rock Fortress was certainly one of the major highlights. Dambulla and Kandy brought a deeper look into Sri Lankan traditions, especially the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Kandyan dance. Nuwara Eliya was a refreshing change with its cool climate, tea factory, botanical garden and Gregory Lake. Yala National Park added some adventure before the route continued south. Galle Fort and Mirissa created a relaxing ending to the holiday. The private vehicle was comfortable for the long journeys, and Lanka Safe Tours kept the overall arrangements organised. A memorable ten-day experience with an excellent mix of culture, nature and sightseeing.Show more

  What a fantastic introduction to Sri Lanka! The itinerary covered an impressive range of experiences in just ten days. Exploring Anuradhapura and Mihintale offered a fascinating look into the island’s ancient history, followed by the spectacular Sigiriya Rock Fortress and medieval Polonnaruwa. Dambulla’s cave temple was another memorable stop, while Kandy provided a wonderful combination of culture and scenery. The journey into Nuwara Eliya was beautiful, especially the tea factory, Royal Botanical Garden and Gregory Lake. Yala National Park added some adventure with the jeep safari, and the final section around Galle and Mirissa was a relaxing way to finish. The private vehicle made the long transfers much easier. Anuradhapura, Mihintale and Polonnaruwa were full of fascinating historical sites, while Sigiriya was an unforgettable highlight. Dambulla and Kandy added plenty of culture to the route. Nuwara Eliya brought beautiful green scenery, tea gardens and Gregory Lake, making it a peaceful change of pace. The Yala safari was another standout experience before heading to Galle and Mirissa. Private travel made the longer journeys considerably easier and more comfortable. The itinerary has a good mixture of historical sites, cultural attractions, nature and wildlife. Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were particularly interesting, while climbing Sigiriya provided some spectacular views. Kandy was another favourite, especially the cultural experiences and Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Lanka Safe Tours provided a smooth and well-balanced experience from Colombo and back again. Nuwara Eliya offered beautiful scenery and a welcome change in climate. The tea factory and Gregory Lake were enjoyable stops before heading south toward Yala. The safari was a definite highlight.   The variety of experiences was what made the journey so memorable. Starting with the ancient city of Anuradhapura and Mihintale, the trip quickly showed how much history Sri Lanka has to offer. Sigiriya Rock Fortress was impressive, and Polonnaruwa added another fascinating glimpse into the island’s past. Dambulla and Kandy brought more cultural experiences, with the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Kandyan dance being particularly interesting. A big part of what made the trip enjoyable was our guide, Prasanna. He had a warm and welcoming personality, was easy to communicate with, and always made sure everything went smoothly. His helpful nature and local knowledge added a personal touch to the experience. The scenery changed completely around Nuwara Eliya, where the tea factory, Royal Botanical Garden and Gregory Lake were lovely highlights. Yala National Park then brought an exciting change of pace with the jeep safari. Galle Fort and Mirissa were perfect for the final coastal section. With private transportation and organised accommodation, Lanka Safe Tours made the 10-day journey comfortable, varied and easy to enjoy.Show more

Having private transportation made exploring Sri Lanka much more comfortable, especially with several destinations included in the itinerary. The journey through the Cultural Triangle was fascinating, with Sigiriya, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa providing unforgettable historical experiences. Kandy offered beautiful cultural attractions, while Nuwara Eliya was a refreshing change with its tea plantations and mountain scenery. Yala National Park was another exciting highlight, particularly for anyone interested in wildlife. Finishing around Mirissa added relaxing beach time. Comfortable accommodation and half-board meals provided extra convenience. Friendly service, good organization and a diverse itinerary made this trip truly enjoyable.Show more
