Manju is not only a good driver, he honestly is the perfect compagnon for a trip to Sri Lanka! He knows the places to eat very good food for even better prices, he explains special things like a guide does when you drive by and is kind in a way suitable for your travel group. Maybe most importantly: When we needed him, due to a sudden change of plans when a meditation place we booked was not what we hoped for, he was immediately there for us, even though it was his day off. Manju also sometimes surprises you with small unexpected gifts: A dorian because we’d never ate one before, a coconut on the side of the road or a place for a real cup of coffee, instead the Sri Lanka kind. Also important, he can be strict to people on the road or even to you, when people try to take advantage of you. So with Manju you feel safe, which we think is important in a third world country we’d never visited. Manju speaks English very well, so there is no language barrier. My brother and I already booked all hotel rooms, which we regretted because Manju knew better places for less money. Also the fuel shortage was no issue for us, because he has a fuel pass, so there was always enough.Show more

Sri Lanka is such a beautiful country and Visit Lanka Tours do their utmost to make sure you have an incredible time when visiting. Manju prepared an amazing 10 day itinerary for us, and we were truly amazed at how much we were able to do, see and learn in this time. We had the pleasure of being show around by Sugath for our 10 days. He was so friendly and knowledgable and adapted our itinerary so we could do even more. Incredible! We visited during a time where the country was experiencing some difficulties - hard to get fuel and some curfews in place - but Sugath and the team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure this did not impact our holiday. Throughout our whole holiday we felt safe and happy, and were kept up to date with the situation. We had an amazing time in Sri Lanka and that is largely due to the team at Visit Lanka Tours. Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with The Visit Lanka Tours - Kandy. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and The Visit Lanka Tours - Kandy will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
