Your day starts at Tiananmen Square, then you'll head into the Forbidden City to see where Ming and Qing emperors lived. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll see the Temple of Heaven. That evening, catch an acrobatic show at the Red Theater.

You're heading to Mutianyu Great Wall with a round-trip cable car included. Red wine is provided for a group toast while you're up there. Next, you'll stop at the Olympic National Stadium (Bird's Nest) for photos, then take a rickshaw through the original Hutong alleys and visit a local family's home.

Beijing to Xi'an
Start the morning at the Summer Palace, an imperial garden on the outskirts of Beijing. After lunch, you'll transfer to the train station for the high-speed train to Xi'an, which takes about 4.5 to 5.5 hours. When you arrive, head to your hotel to check in.

Xi'an

Explore the Muslim Quarter and sample local food, then visit the Great Mosque and Small Wild Goose Pagoda (home to Xi'an Museum) in the afternoon.

Xi'an to Guilin
Transfer to the airport and fly to Guilin. Your local guide picks you up and takes you to the hotel for a two-night stay. Once settled, you'll visit the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill.

Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
You'll cruise down the Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo, which takes about 4.5 hours. When you arrive, walk through West Street. During the drive through country roads, you'll see the rural scenery and stop at a villager's home. Then it's the transfer back to Guilin.
