Is there a minimum number required for a tour date to go ahead, even though it currently says departure date guaranteed for all in August?

How many people are currently booked on the available dates in August?

Is it required to pay a single supplement for Wild Mongolia if you are traveling alone? Do you offer special rates on air?

Our standard accommodation is on twin share basis and solo travelers will have to share with another solo traveler of the same gender. However, a single supplement is available at an additional cost of $735, if you prefer not to share a room on this trip. The single supplement excludes Days 4, 7, 10 &11, where you will be in shared accommodation and is subject to availability.

Would you kindly check this please? I've booked for Guide Hotel and noticed a price discrepancy. The hotel is charged at $110 per night, but advertised online at $93au. This means $465 for 5 nights, but I'm being charged $550.

For this tour the starting point is Guide Hotel, Ulaanbaatar. A pre-tour night here is charged at USD $83 per room, per night if you book through us.

Does this trip include the Naadam festival? If not, do any of your other Mongolia trips include the Naadam festival in July?

Our guide TEM, our drivers and staff we met along the way did all they could to make our tour interesting, educational, adventurous, safe and lots of fun. Mongolia is so much more than I expected. I never felt like we we roughing it. Accommodations were unique, scenic and sufficient. The homestays were a challenge that bonded the group and the families. The activities gave us a variety of experiences. I highly recommend is you want a challenging, adventurous tour with not too much physical exertion.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
