Do your tours take solo travellers?

The price we display on Tour Radar is for at least 2 travellers. Unfortunatly, we can't take only one traveller for this tour at this price. I just recalculated the budget for one just to be sure. We do have a departure for this tour on the 10th of September, so far there is one other traveller from Germany.

Will the accommodation have showers?

The Budget tour - have a shower 1/3 days. The price: $1968-$2400. Standard tour have a shower every-day. The price: $2800-$4000

Would like to ask question about departure dates. And which other Mongolian tours are subject to black friday sales

Is that the 20th June? The website shows a tour 24th June - 5th July. If it is in fact on the 20th what date does it finish - 2nd of July? If I book spots for 2 - 4 people can I change / confirm the person's later next year? If I need to change date and go on a tour with different dates what is the process / cost involved in that?

The tour itinerary was well, thought-out, we saw plenty of incredible sights and it was a lot of fun. My driver was very friendly but a little unprofessional at times; he would often disappear for very long periods of time in the evening for unclear reasons, without bothering to cook dinner. I got the impression he was treating the tour as his own paid vacation rather than providing a service. On the last day we ran out of water, and the driver was very reluctant to buy any more, even though it was extremely hot. The horseriding was good fun, and in the incredible scenery of the Orkhon Valley. However, there was virtually no instruction given, they just told me to get on the horse and to follow them. The horse trainer also insisted on going very fast all the time, which was a little daunting for someone who has never ridden a horse before, with no safety equipment provided whatsoever. Overall a very fun and interesting trip, with enjoyable activities throughout. Visiting the Yoliin Am gorge and climbing the Khongor Els dunes were particular highlights for me. However, it would be nice if safety and professionalism were more of a priority, particularly for the horse-riding section.Show more

  That is what I was looking for, tours that I can tag along as a solo :) if there are any others in September that would be great but I will ask my boss about getting time off for the 10th September tour. How old is the other traveller?

  The other traveler on the 10th of September is a 50 years old gentleman from Germany. There is the possibility to do tours alone, with one person from our agency that will accompany you as a driver/guide. But price gets more expensive. For this particular tour, 12 days Gobi and Horseback, it would cost 3050 USD.

  Departure period from Thursday, June 20, 2024 to Wednesday, July 10, 2024. In June-August, 4 people can choose their own departure date. But 2 people can change their travel dates for next year for free. one person cannot be changed. Prices will increase by 30-50 percent. We do not organize single person tours.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with TTRMongolia. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and TTRMongolia will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "TTRMongolia" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
