  This summer has been filled with really awesome adventures around the world. And Macedonia was in my bucket list .Macedonia is a country in the Balkan Peninsula in Southeast Europe. I stayed there for a few days and their days were filled with lots of really exciting activities and fun moments. TourRadar Let me talk you through my trip and how was it. First of all, I booked my tour with my favourite website TourRadar. This website is more then perfect, it offers a wide selection of tours / programs and more. It is available 24/7 My tour was organised by Plus Travel. I've been through alot with Plus Travel this trip, it helped me alot but it was a bit of a mess before the trip started. To start off, they are quite terrible when it comes to responding to emails. It says in their bio that they normally replay within 24 hours, however that was not the case for me. They would reply like 48 hours later maybe even more, so that was a huge let down as I like to be prepared before my trips and know how will it go. Transportation Having said that, the moment I arrived to the country I was accompanied by Miki whom I think is the owner of Plus Travel. He picked me up in a very lovely mercedes car and drove me to the hotel in Skopje. Adding to that, Miki was a hugee help in this trip, he helped me with extra activities that I wanted to add, booked me an extra night when I wanted to, helped me book flights and more. He was very helpful and friendly. On my way back to the airport, I was also accompanied by a very nice car, it wasn't as comfortable as the first one but it wasn't bad. Accomodation The first hotel I was in was called Dolce International Hotel. The hotel was okay and it had acceptable service. However, it's location was not the best, it was set in a very tight street, it was very small and I felt like I needed more space as the street felt very sketchy. My room was not bad but it could've been better. It lacked hygiene. After my semi nice experience with Dolce International Hotel, I went to another hotel in Lake Ohrid. The hotel was called Nova Rivera Hotel I as I remember, it had the perfect location, amazing view and everything was near to me. I stayed there for one night. However, my luck with rooms was terrible. I had the worst room ever, the bed had bed bugs and it was very uncomfortable. So I couldn't stay in this hotel any longer, I had to leave. I went to a third hotel called Tino Hotel, it looked decent from outside and it had a very relaxing and beautiful view. My room was definitely alot more cleaner than the last one, it wasn't anything posh but extremely better. Tour Guide My tour guide was amazing. Her name was Ivana, she's a Macedonian tour guide , so she was very informative and educated about the country. Ivana tried her absolutely best to stay nice and decent to me so I highly appreciate that. I highly recommend her when wanting to have a tour guide in Macedonia. Overall, I consider my trip to Macedonia a success, yes there were times where it was an absolute mess but other than that it was always very fun and adventurious. I highly recommend you adding it to your bucket list destinations. I also recommend Plus Travel, I hope Miki fixes the delay in emails issues and respond faster to people. I also think that if they have better hotel selection, alot more people will try them out. I can't thank TourRadar enough for making this trip yet again amazing and so memorable, I can't wait for the next time I book with them.Show more
