We suggest that you pack as lightly as possible as you are expected to carry your own luggage. Our trips in South Korea use some public transport and most will have limited luggage storage space. You will also be walking with your luggage in busy public train stations to catch connecting trains, so it is highly recommended that you travel light and have easy to handle luggage and capable of walking up and down the stairs with your luggage without any assistance. A large bag will be an inconvenience to you and will slow you down.

Am I correct that we need to schedule our own flights or will G Adventures assist us? Also, does G Adventures offer travel insurance for its customers?

You will need to source your own international flights to and from the tour independently. G Adventures does not offer travel insurance, but Tour Radar does. If you proceed with the booking, a representative would be able to assist in your quote.

What a pleasant trip! Priya (our guide) went above and beyond to make this a wonderful time for everyone! Unfortunately the time went by way too fast, but we did a lot in the week we had. Accomodation was pleasant, food wonderful, atmosphere fantastic! When we had questions Priya couldn't answer immediately, she always came back to us and sometimes even helped us with recommendations and more. After visting the DMZ zone/ War memorial, I had asked Priya if she maybe knew of a place where I could get old war medals as a gift for my father (not a question one normally would expect) - she came back to me with different websites, prices and adresses and even asked me a few days after that if I got what I needed/ needed more help! Asking about food - she gave different options as well as suggesting if we wanted to try it on the trip or not. It was my first time in South Korea and I enjoyed it so much, I regret having to go home - would love to see this wonderful country again!Show more

Michael, our tour guide, was patient, friendly, and flexible with different age travelers and physical abilities by adjusting the activities for them. The Best of Korea tour's itinerary was very full. I think many of us enjoyed the itinerary and the experiences we had. I, particularly, enjoyed the various transportation methods which added to the experience. The War Memorial Hall of Korea museum is a big museum and had very important history. Most of us needed more time. I think this activity could of come at the beginning of the tour for us to have better knowledge of Korean history. On the tour's last day, after the museum, most of us thought there was going to be a group dinner. The tours I have been in the past had end of the tour dinner to say good bye and show our appreciation to the tour guide. It's nice to have a closure after spending a week together. We were disappointed that the day just ended after returning to the hotel. After the DMZ visit, we had a very nice lunch at a well known restaurant. This time could of have been a good opportunity to say good bye but I think due to limited time, food came out late, we didn't linger.Show more
