Who can apply
Hosted trips are open to RISE members who have an engaged audience and feel confident bringing a group together. We’re looking for confident individuals who genuinely connect with their audience and can form a group of at least 4 travellers. This could be through social media, email, or an existing community.

No, prior hosting or professional travel experience isn’t required. What matters most is that you’re confident bringing people together, feel comfortable leading a small group, and have an engaged audience that trusts you.
If you can connect with your community, communicate clearly, and support a group of travellers during the trip, you’re a great fit — we’ll support you along the way.How does traveling for free work?
If you bring a minimum of 6 paying travelers with you on the trip, we’ll cover your spot - meaning you travel for free. Your role is to bring the group together; once the minimum group size is met, your seat is included.
How much commission can I earn?
You can earn up to $180+ on average per booking, depending on the total booking value (basket size). The more travellers you bring and the higher the booking value, the higher your potential commission.
Can I customize the itinerary?
Yes — our selected tour operators can help customize one or two elements of the itinerary to include a bucket-list experience that’s important to you or your group. That said, we recommend keeping customizations light. These itineraries have been tested by millions of travellers and refined over many years to ensure a smooth, well-operated experience.
What happens if the trip doesn't fill?
The tour operator will set a cut-off date before the trip becomes non-refundable. If the minimum isn’t met by then, you’ll have the option to cancel the trip without penalty and any deposit payments will be returned.
How does the 90-day lookback work?
As a RISE partner, you earn commission when travellers book through your TourRadar links. For hosted trips, this also applies to bookings made for your private tour, and within 90 days after clicking to view your content. That’s why we recommend keeping customizations minimal — it makes it easier to link your content to the tour and increase post-trip bookings.
Who handles payments and customer support?
TourRadar handles bookings and payments for you. Payments are secure and fully automated, with support for multiple currencies and payment methods.
You’ll have dedicated host support and 24/7 access to TourRadar travel experts, while trusted local tour operators manage all the tour logistics on the ground. This means you can focus on hosting, connect with your community, and build meaningful experiences, and create content while hosting.How can I host as a Travel Agent?
As a travel agent, a Hosted Trip gives you everything you need to promote and manage your own group tour. You’ll get a custom tour page to share with your audience, and you’ll handle all bookings and communication with both the operator and your travelers. You earn your agent commission on every booking, and best of all—your trip is free as the host. It’s a great way to engage your clients, and grow your business.
Who will be the guide on the trip?
Your trip will be fully operated and guided by our tour operator. They take care of everything that keeps the journey running smoothly — including professional guides, transportation, accommodations, and all inclusions listed in the itinerary.
As the host, your role is to bring the group together and enhance the experience, not to manage logistics. You can relax, travel with your group, and focus on connection, while the operator handles the planning and execution behind the scene.
