The best option when you want to see as much as possible in a short period of time. My coworker and I took advantage of a course in India to take a short vacation and visit some of the most iconic sites in this incredible country. We chose Chuttibaaz because it allowed us to tour the Golden Triangle in 4 days, with hotels we booked on our own. They provided us with a car and a private driver who accompanied us for all 4 days, as well as local guides at each place we visited. We left Delhi at 9:00 a.m. to tour several of the city’s monuments, including the park where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. In the afternoon, we headed to Agra. Very early the next morning, our guide picked us up at our hotel, which was a short distance from the entrance to the Taj Mahal complex. It’s a must-see—more beautiful than any professional photo you’ve ever seen. After breakfast, we strolled through the Agra Fort, and in the afternoon we set off for Jaipur, stopping first at Fatehpur Sikri. That night, we rested at our hotel in Jaipur, from where we took a tour of the monuments in this magnificent city. Our fourth day was relaxed; we traveled back to Delhi with a stop to visit Aerocity before departing from the city’s airport. All of our guides were incredible—knowledgeable and eager to help us discover the iconic sites, the history behind each one, and to understand Indian culture. They made access easy for us, providing directions to the entrances and information on admission prices. They also recommended tours based on our preferences, budget, and energy levels. It makes no sense to visit so many historical sites without a guide who can provide context, a historical overview, and answers to all your questions. They also recommended excellent restaurants and shops that suited our interests. A special shout-out to our driver, Brijesh Kumar, for his patience with us and his cheerful personality—he always waited for us with a bottle of cold water and a cool car interior so we could recharge and continue our journey. We also want to acknowledge his skills as a driver on the streets and roads of India, which can be so stressful for Westerners like us.
