  Our Guide was excellent. Offie kept us well informed about upcoming stops and towns. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Her recommendations were always spot on. We found that some of the Hotels along the way were not very accessible for the bus pick up and drop off. Particularly the Ruebens hotel in Porto. Check in at Sol Principe was rather a gong show. Front desk staff insisted on checking in each guest individually but didn't give any directions on how to get to the room! Our room was located in another building almost 1000 steps from the reception desk! Very confusing check in. The tours and optional excursions were excellent, we especially enjoyed the Flamenco show. Our driver was also excellent, some of the roads and parking he had to navigate were very challenging indeed. Loved the cold water for sale on the bus, but phone charging ports on the bus would have been nice to have. Overall we enjoyed our time on this tour very much, the few hiccups along the way will not be remembered longer than the great people we met and the wonderful places we stopped to admire on this tour.Show more

  Our guide, Juan Pablo, was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. He did an outstanding job leading a group of travelers from different countries, providing explanations in both Spanish and English so that everyone felt included. If I could choose a guide for my next trip, I would definitely choose him again. We visited so many beautiful places in just a few days, yet the itinerary never felt rushed. There was always enough time to enjoy each destination, get some rest, and even have free time to explore or relax as we wished. The hotels were all excellent and exceeded my expectations. The only suggestion I have is to ask travelers about any dietary restrictions before the tour begins. I don't recall being asked about this, and a few people were unable to eat some of the meals provided at different locations because of food allergies or intolerances. Taking dietary needs into account would make the experience even better for everyone.Show more

  Most of the trip was wonderful. There were only a couple of glitches. The first one was that during the welcome meeting on the 1st night, the guests that wanted to go to the salt mine already had tickets except the 4 of us. We were told that we couldn't get them until we got to Poland and told the tour guide. Thank goodness he was able to get us tickets even though he said there was a slight chance that he wouldn't be able to get them. The welcome meeting was to have champagne or something but we bought our own drinks which wasn't that big of a deal. I just wouldn't put complimentary drinks on the itinerary anymore. The other thing that went wrong was that our itinerary said we would have a free shuttle back to the airport from Gdansk at noon. We waited and nothing came so we called the guide and she said there was a communication problem so we called an Uber to get us to the hotel. I think we should be reimbursed for this charge.Show more
